  1. I have to agree, if a scale is open like they where on my way down to Macungie from Mass, we all pulled in with our trucks and only Conn did not wave us through till they actually saw the trucks then just let us go. Its easier to pull in than have them chase you down. As far as insurance on my truck I have Commerce and so long as I have the antique plates on the truck there are none for a trailer here I can haul a trailer and another vehicle so long as its my own with no issues. Jack
  2. Was that the Red R-Model dump truck at the Springfield show, it was parked next to my truck and if that is the one Chris up at Francestown Sand and Gravel bought it I believe.
  3. I stopped there on my way to Macungie this spring with some guys taking our trucks down, Gary met us and gave us the keys to his barns and we wandered through them all. He was very gracious to us and we had a great time.
  4. I think there talking about from the NTSB'S view black box's like planes have, that's how I read it, not the electronic log books. With the box's in the event of an accident they can piece together what was going on prior to an event, That was how I read it.,,,,,,Jack
  5. I believe trucks should have them installed on trucks this day in age, they are powerful tools in the event of an accident and speaking first hand. My father was involved in an unfortunate accident when a car pulled out in front of him and he struck them with his pickup killing them instantly, he was beside himself over it and the Ma State Police down loaded the black box from his truck and that and the witness and physical evidence showed he did everything possible to stop and avoid them but to no avail, also the 80 page report detailed his reaction time to the accident and all that was gained from the Black box. They don't hurt you if your doing all thing right.
  6. Just because it has a red interior does not mean it could of been a fire truck, I hated the green on our B so it was painted red like the exterior ,,,,,,just saying.......lol Jack
