  1. I dont think that would fit in a little b-model. Your pushing it with a 237
  2. There might have been in back.
  3. My grandfathers old truck originally a single-axle. First time I've gotten yelled at for taking pictures of old truck. Guy starts yelling from other side of tracks "What are you doing?" Taking a picture "No trespassing" i didn't see any signs that said that, last i knew a sign is supposed to be posted every 50 ft but anyways got this and the R-model. There were a bunch of other old trucks there too.
  4. Off-road Chevy Oshkosh plow truck
  5. My dad knows the guy who originally owned it. They put a new motor in it i think and went through the whole truck. Its in good shape for its age besides the cab.
  6. Saw these in New Hampshire last week 5 Guys Pick-up at Liberty International
  7. Sad R-model. The bottom of the cab was missing of rot. Funny looking lowboy too
  8. Yep still using toploaders. Mack has had the same suspension since the 1940s with changes here and there but still mostly the same.
  9. that has to be in the '60s or really early '70s then. I like the look of the steel dashes.
  10. I hears in the garages only drivers can walk in between two lines, mechanics the other two lines, and supervisors the other two lines and if they cross you get in big trouble walking in somebody else's area.
  11. Too bad you dont see any going down the road anymore.
  12. One didn't go to Africa the other 2 did get scrapped because frame broke in one and the other needed cab, body, etc.
  13. I dont know if a CT or MA truck originally. MA truck now but its and old Cuberland Farms/Gulf U-model
  14. There was a guy that was going back to the yard in a snow storm and went of the road into a ditch. UPS never even questioned where he was or what happened to the truck. Finally a week later the family went looking and followed the truck tire marks going down the bank and found him.
  15. Our '56 B-80 has a mack 5 with a 4 speed behind it
  16. All of them are suppose to be cut up. They want pictures to prove it and everything.
  17. They don't want anybody to make money off them. Also if you sell or buy vehicles from them you cannot be seen with the person in public and when that person retires they can't talk to those people they dealt with for a couple months. For a small company that started in Colchester, CT they sure make some stupid rules.
