  1. A little better than your old '78 r-model
  2. that truck probably has the old style brakes without rollers so you wont be able to stop it loaded
  3. A guy we know treated his son a little too good for years until the money ran out. Well the kid had a drug addiction and would steal anything from anybody to scrap including his father. That included motors, radiators, trailers, trucks, excavator/payloader buckets. so he asks his father for gas money one day instead uses it to buy drugs runs out of gas about a 1/4 mile away from the farm and breaks into a ladys house. went to jail for a year and just got out a couple weeks ago
  4. Vinny, there is a guy that goes under as U.S. Heavy Equipment that sells on truckpaper from CT, i would imagine he has some U-models because i see them on there for sale and their still for sale a couple years later on other websites and you can see U/DMs in the background
  5. Ok i asked just because some of the guys around here with the KWs and Petes have shifters in them that hit the ceiling almost
  6. Cabs look the same as a freightshakers
  7. Yeah we have 2 the one in the background came off our '78 and the one originally off it. We had the one in the background on it after we put the motor in and then some crack head(literally) backed into it so now both need to be fixed so were gonna put the original one on it since it is longer.
  8. That must be the reason they put the freightshaker dealer right at the end of the exit so when the truck died you could coast right in keeping the tow bill cheap. LOL
  9. The T880 kinda looks like the CAT trucks

  13. My engineering/automotive teacher was saying the same thing. He wants to start a class at our high school that teaches just every day skills like changing light switches, minor fixes, etc. just to get kids to realize that you can do stuff yourself. This was his first year there and he improved all the classes he teaches a lot by doing a lot more hands on stuff where as the other guy did everything out of a book.
  14. Extensions on the gear sticks? by that i hope you don't mean shifters that you hit your hand on the ceiling. Straight pipes sound good though
  15. Our E-6 350 out runs our 350 e-tech any day of the week
  16. Are these what they call the "fishbowls"?
