  1. Bozzutos still had that truck sitting on RT 10 a couple years ago. They had a bunch of "little" superliners too
  2. We painted our trucks with red cab, fenders and the top of the hood white with white air cleaner it looked good but its your decision and what you like
  3. Courville's Mack and Garage, Inc. Montville, CT
  4. A company my dad used to work for had a bunch of DMs with 237, 6 speeds, they moved bridge beams and double Ts all around New England with them. They didn't go fast but they always got there.
  5. That is the motor that came with the truck. Because they couldn't put intercoolers on them they had the tip turbine which also meant they could not put 4v heads on them but the block was the newer style 350 E-6 with the larger rods, etc. which would be a 350 4v but these trucks had 2v heads on them.
  6. We test drove one years ago it went really slow it didn't work out for us.
  7. With a permit you are good for 80,000. The trucks had 24 volt systems but otherwise were good with the 350 12speed. Also because of all the weight distribution on the front axle they tended to get stuck and the front end would slide.
  8. I asked my dad and he says there hasn't been any Butler stuff there for years since before they got bought out. Up in back of their yard way in back they have a bunch of old trucks and equipment, they might be up back there.
  9. DMMs had 4v motors with 2v heads on them. My dad rebuilt the one for Butler above. Tip turbines can only be used with 2v motors so those trucks had different build engines that any other '88 mack didn't have.
  10. maybe its too steep and the sensors cant pickup the oil?
  11. Those trucks have 24volt systems in them
  12. I was also just reading a article about them from "Overdrive mag" from '77. It said the cab interior used designs from Brockways too. The cab interior looks identical to a R-model to me unless i missed something?
  13. Thanks, I thought just the non-mack powered trucks had the steering box mounted on the front axle but now i know why.
  14. I always hear about the superliner II which is the regular superliner and the superliner III which is the newer Australian version but what is the difference between the Superliner I and II? Is it when they changed production plants?
  15. I wouldn't take them off but that's my opinion and isn't it also federal law to have them?
  16. Looks like the newer ones had the same style grill as the superliner somewhat
  17. It says under the video that the guy worked for Mack in Hayward. He finished the truck after it came off the assembly line.
  18. The Kar Construction dump use to be a St. Johnsbury tandem tractor.
