  2. Exporting to all countries is OK except Africa and Haiti the poor trucks are beat and beat harder there. The exporters tell you "20yrs from now the truck will still be running, it wont look the same but it will be running with probably the same oil in it too"

  6. We put exides in our R-model and it sat for the last 3 years and still had a charge. We had Motorcraft in our 01 F350 that lasted 5 yrs and the second set 4

  16. Mack made a video about those trucks because of the loads they were moving
  17. Thats the problem, my dad has been working on Macks for 35 years and hes never seen one besides our 93 RB had it but that was a 8LL. He was at mack one day and asked the service manger what it was and he didn't know either. We didn't notice it until today on our superliner when we the aneroid valve was leaking because of it. We just put another rebuilt 12 speed in it and we were trying to figure it out so my dad asked his friend who has a 12 speed in his R-model what it was and he said there was some torque valve on the tranny that went to the puff eliminator/aneroid. he never noticed it on his till his air ride cab broke and broke it off the transmission. he said he never put it back on so it cant be too important?
  18. I hear these stories from my parent all the time! I would love to buy an original, mechanical brand new Mack
  19. What up with the air line that comes from the tranny to the aneroid valve, we heard it was to reduce power when to muchtorque?
  20. The DMs had regular steel bodies on them
