  1. I think Suzio has one of the best collections around here considering its all their OWN trucks.
  2. They are sitting in North Haven by Barnick's. They're both old Stamford Demolition Trucks I don't know if they are for sale but they are both not in bad shape. There is no rot in the cabs but the frame in the b-model has a lot of rust. Most of the heavy duty R-model I have seen are town trucks but Pratt & Whitney use to have 5 R-model tractors like this with plows only a lot newer in North Haven. They were never used but that was 11 years ago when they moved out so I don't know what happened to them.
  3. In CT most of the roll overs from blown tires are 385's. We only run 425 Michelin on our tri-axle steers. Most of the construction companies in CT have switched over to 425's and don't have any problems. We run 76,500 gross. They last a lot longer and are safer. Maybe CT's roads are a lot rougher?
  4. 1966 R-609T, Quadbox, 29k rear, with a 711, double frame. Are these as rare as U609's or...?
  5. Puting a 4v pump on will burn your pistons up, just put a air switch in for emissions
  6. That is the only way he will learn,
  7. I think a lot more hard work, time, and money goes into these trucks then cars
  8. Everybody loves it when ours goes through the center of town you cant see behind you fro a good 30 seconds
  9. George Young also has 2 RD800 with V8s they were featured in Bulldog Magazine in 2011
  10. Our RD turns perfectly fine with 425s, they are better/stronger tires and don't blow where as 385s do alot
  11. Our '01 E7 has Renault and Mack on the block but when Renault got Mack they were trying to financially stabilize Mack where as Volvo is trying to destroy it.
  12. The white B-61 at the end was the first mack with a lift-axle on it from the factory. It was featured at the world's fair in New York City in 1964. Beard ended up with it and broke the frame behind the cab. Agra Tucking of North Branford ended up with it and a bunch of other trucks.
