  9. They no longer use that. Bought a new T800 with the slope nose. Just put it in service a few months ago.
  10. Town of Southbury runs a fleet of these alongside Internationals. Heavy duty plow for sure.
  11. O&G is still operating them as Rawson. Red and black triaxle KWs. I beleive McClure bought their newer Mack Triaxles. One of the DMs i know for sure

  14. For the most part Bob everyone is still running big trucks. During the last few storms i noticed our town for one has had contractors working with super dutys which do an ok job. One good thing i have to say about them is that when we had the blizzard of 2013 the town had super dutys with v-blades that opened the roads up no problem and then they'd push it back with the Macks. But for the most part everyone is sticking with class 8 trucks. A few towns have gotten the 650s and equivalent. Dont know how good of a job they do though. I guess theres pros and cons to both. A superduty is much cheaper to operate id imagine with a non-CDL driver and a automatic (as long as it has a cooler) so you dont need as qualified of a person. As for 4 door trucks, the state has a bunch of internationals that are 4 door.
  15. Our state doesn't pay that much more for a wing plow. They have the double wings on their 10 wheelers anyways

  17. were good for 76k in CT with the permit. 73k without it. Truck must be able to handle it (20k fromt, 20 lift, 44 rears) to be able to get permit. If it isnt a construction material your knocked down to 67,400. 10 wheelers are legal for 54k i think. 80k on a trailer with either the permit or the bridge law allows it.
  18. Funny because that company is from Massachusetts and uses their dump trailers for everything. They should send the Florida guys up north for a week.
  19. From what ive read the 6.0 in Interantional trucks were good motors because they didnt have as much emissions on them. Because superduties are a lower weight class they needed more emissions therefore the problems.
