    We had a truck get pulled over and inspected top to bottm only thing he didnt like was a "lack" of reflective tape on the side of the trailer. He started write up ticket and then the driver noticed a missing valve stem cap and brought it to the attention of the DMV inspector. He told him to get out of there and all the other DMV guys wanted to laugh at the way he acted. So our 1978 R685 and 1970 Fruehauf left heaped as much as possible with pumice while all the other trucks were gettting put out of service...

    The town of Southbury has thes on their F350s and F450s. When they pick them up theyre only 2 or so inches off the ground since theyre so heavy

    If its the origional engine if ir ember rigfht those motoers can not handle that power. The later ones could be tweaked but not that much from what i understand.

    Nice truck. 6 speeds are nice trannys to get around with. People couldnt believe our R on jobs walking right out of holes in low gear load pulling a trailer dump while the other triaxles would get stuck
