Our Rd has originals on the driver side with 400K+ miles on it and its a 2001. We replaced the passenger side when we replaced the spring and everything on that side of the truck.

i grease them whenever im near a grease gun. dont hurt it to have it and grease it cheaper then metal

I know a guy who was backing truck he just replaced he rearend in into the bay and poked right through the door behind it with the ladder. Guy told him it was ok since majority of the guys in the department had done it.

kinda cool in one way since the guy spent many ,any hours on it but ugly. Would have been better on a ford chassis but its a head turner for sure. Would be better with regular doors too and a not chopped cab.

Sounds like any air transmission. Our 8LL in our RD does it, our 12 speed in our RW does it. The good ole 2 stick 6 speed dont! Once both transmissions warm up they are fine the rest of the day, only happens when you first start out on a cold morning.
