    E7s have water around the liners, the journals on the crank are bigger and a few other things.

    Well a mack transmission is designed to take 1800lbs of torque so i would say a Mack motor produces up around there. Hence the triple counter shaft tranny. A mack motor would brake the fullers in half.

    If the engine has side covers behind the injection pump it is a E6 and if there are no covers its a E7

    Our Local Water Company decided to buy the lastever made Sterling for their heavy hauling truck. Needless to say they bought a mack soon after.

    My '97 F350 is still all there except for a aftermarket cab corner that rotted. The truck had a 200gal. tank in the back that was over filled a few times and got the truck covered in diesel. Truck has 277,000 and no rot. And it plows too.
