  1. I take the clutch bolts out through the inspection plate and remove the transmission with the clutch on the input shaft, I install it the same way never need to align it tighten the bolts in an x pattern, it's a little slow with the bolts but so much easier than messing with the alignment tool and I use the jack to lift the clutch
  2. i like those construction fenders, they look good on the dump. That truck is like new, central hardly ever used it. The 360 tractor my uncle joe re bought was in brockway today magazine all restored, I wish he would have kept it Ernie she was sweet, those jug head Brock's are wore out, the one green one had a 12 in it, the crank was bad so he tried to install a 3406b in it and never finished it, the truck was real clean with low mileage and he should have put another 12 in it but he never parts with any thing.
  3. The new ones look different cause they are tubeless.
  4. do they have anymore brockways 2 stack?
  5. yes it did he recently just changed the body from steel to alum.
  6. Air ride will fit as long as the ch wasn't a double rail
  7. give a good wack from the back side(rim), pops rite off for me, and make sure you put some new studs in the hub.
  8. I did a panel replacement on a sleeper same side and a same truck, had to gut whole left side interior removed the muffler and cut off all the rivets from the outside being the panel was junk. not to bad of a job, use a good huck gun and straighten all your interior braces and make sure the new panel lays on there nice and flat because that huck gun will pull hard and dent the new panel which im sure you know. the sleeper does not have to be removed to do this job like the body shops say, let me know if you need any help along the way. good luck
  9. the reason I removed these rears is because the bull gears need to be replaced, they are worn and pitted and some places chipped. these are the gears behind the covers and the bearings are worn, these rears have about 750,000 miles on them and have never been apart.
  10. My carriers look the same minus the torque rods and brackets. The studs are there and the big hole for the front arm, I had to use the brackets and rods on my replacements.
  11. That really sucks, at least you held her up right, and didn't hurt anyone, and you are going to have a hell of a blowout story to tell when you stop for coffee!
  12. I know all my cats have multiple drain plugs, maybe you can take it all the way out and weld an aluminum patch over the hole, i am getting ready to do this to one of mine with a similar situation.
  13. Not neway, mack\Hendrickson, i have a mack section of frame rail drilled for mack air ride with the hangers still on and all crossmembers intact. Its cut right in front of the first tandem, it was out of a 1996 ch model, i want to sell all this stuff for scrap cost.
  14. hey tim i still have cap, if you would like to call me my # is 914 474-7383, we can discuss it, my name is Dominick.
  15. The cement mixers are cool looking, I never seen a trailer/tractor combo before.
  16. I have a set of rears out of a rd air ride set up. They need rebuilding but they are good cores. All the hubs and axles are good, the front rear has the air operated power divider, the housings are cracked. Make offer.
  17. what are you going to do with these trucks that will make them junk when done?
  18. cruiseliner looks like a calendar shot, nice pic.
  19. well the switch is complete, if anyone ever does this the air bags are different. the bags from the flate plate design will fit the cast frame plates, I used an exstension on the air line and used one nut, the other bag uses 2 studs.the springs lined up and I changed the top torsion bars and brackets.
  20. Is the fan the one that spins all the time and goes faster when needed, the sending unit in the tank is probably bad.
  21. That sleeper looks good for the time it was made!
