  1. All that 3406 needs is the screws turned out in the fuel pump and the afrac screw turned in a little and 500 hp if it's a 3406b 425 factory, and it will scoot then!
  2. There should be one on the outside firewall behind the head left side, this usually is the one to change, just put one on my 2000 rd
  3. I would not put the red in any older motor, the gaskets can't handle the red stuff, I was going to use it in my 3406 425 cat in my 96 Pete and the cat man, and engine rebuilds told me the same, not sure on what years are safe, and don't get green mixed with red it will ruin it, but the red has no effect on the green. Napa sells some heavy duty stuff that is purple and can mix with the green stuff.
  4. 118 days and no rust, what's the hold up
  5. Very ugly, and why so much, other than real gold items, must be nice to waste money like that
  6. I may have that elbow need to check my storage
  7. That turbo on the dm is huge, how much HP is it making, very clean engine bay
  8. The petes turning radius is superior to anything, my Pete is 260 wb, I had a ch sleeper before it with a set back axle and the Pete will get around better because of the cut, I like macks but my 379 is sweet and I never had a place I couldn't get it in, I haul pool water and end up on dead end roads that give the school buses problems.
  9. My cousin did it in a superliner, drilled a circle of holes on the bottom for the speaker sound to exit, looked nice and worked out for him
  10. If the clutch brake is too worn to work, you can air chisel it out and install a two piece type to buy you some time in till you do the clutch job, I had to do this to a fairly new kw that got torn up bye some steering wheel holder, work nice with the slip on brake
  11. Those back to back cross members looked cheap but I think we're the strongest
  12. Leave it closed, all the dust comes in and clogs up the condensor and the heater core, like Mike said if you really want it opened make a little block to fit, I have mine unhooked on my 2000 rd, maybe I will sell it to you, sounds like I have a piece of gold on my Mack, it does work and is not Very old, I leave it unhooked cause when it opened up it looked like the lid was going to fly away, too much force on the plastic lol!
  13. Wonder why the headlight had to be lowered?
  14. Drop a v12 and make it a single axle like that red and white one used in the early brochures pulling the hopper trailers
  15. It will work
  16. Sweet little ride, nice truck and cool steering wheel
  17. Should be at 400up, untill you set the pump and timing
  18. Yeah I ordered a TP valve this morning, my inside valves were leaking any way, so hopefully Monday I will be leak free thanks guys
  19. That adjuster bolt/screw is to set your idle, loosen the jam nut and you can raise or lower your idle speed, fuel adjustments are under that square cover.
  20. They could be brock way covers, you want to sell them I'm doing a 361 over and looks close to mine
  21. You putting the air to air on it, looks good in there is it a 425hp or 400up?
  22. I have a 2000 rd, problem is when I pull the trolley, or hit the foot pedal I have air coming out of my service line which is normal if my red, yellow, and blue knobs are in.This happens with them out, when in everything works normal. When bobtailing is the issue, I changed all the valves in the dash thinking I had a bypass, so now I'm leaning towards a tractor protection valve, or maybe a treadle valve, slacks are working, brakes are new and I have no other leaks except when pushing the pedal or trolley with the knobs out. Anyone ever encounter this problem, I hate doing those foot valves?
  23. Sweet paint job, loving the 425 cat
  24. They take a 11 22.5 tire, I put the tire size down
