  1. Nice picture Vlad!
  2. A dry cold? Yes, they say it's not the cold so much, it's the humi- no, wait, that's the heat they say that about...never mind, that's cold!
  3. I think I might have posted this before, this was in the Lynchburg paper's archive photos. I saw it today, this is when they were building the Smith Mountain Dam. http://www.newsadvance.com/news/local/photos-building-smith-mountain-lake-a-look-back/collection_0ec57092-d580-11e5-aa7e-7f9c0e742de0.html#9
  4. Thank you Ed.

  6. Happy New Year to everyone, I hope it will be your best ever.
  7. I delivered steel or something to Liebherr in Newport News years ago and remember seeing one the biggest, if not the biggest, fork lifts I have ever seen.
  8. Merry Christmas!
  9. Happy birthday.
  10. Happy birthday Herby!
  11. Looks delicious Paul.
  12. Just some kind of weird natural phenomena I suppose.
  13. I know, right? Burn down one shed, one time, smoking one turkey. I smoked many things before- and after- but that one time is all anybody seems to remember.
  14. Fake news, the turkey was not under-cooked at all.
  15. Pilot Mountain- Rt. 52, looking north.Rt. 52, looking south.
  16. oh
  17. yeah!..put that in your collective pipes and smoke it!
  18. Naw, manteos, also known as sea cows, are large, fully aquatic, mostly herbivorous marine mammals, with no known relationship with Andy Griffith.
  19. Yes it is, they referred to "Mt. Pilot" often, and Mt. Airy, N.C. is Andy Griffith's home town, which is what they based Mayberry on.
  20. Great to hear from you Rob, merry Christmas to you and yours! And how about this Christmas classic, I'm a little late with it this year.
  21. Thank you, thank you very much!
  22. I know what you're saying, here's a picture I took several years ago-
  23. I like the box on that Mac trailer, looks way sturdier that the box that's on the Fontaine trailer I pull now. The box on the Fontaine is the second one that's been on it, and both doors are already cracked on it, because they're so flimsy to start with.
  24. I loaded some zinc in Cincinnati, going to the galvanizer in Petersburg, Va. Had to be tarped. I was away last weekend, in N.C. I drove up Pilot Mountain, a place i'd never been, just seen it from rt. 52. I t was nice, you could see Winston Salem from up there. You could see Pilot Mountain from Winston Salem too. I even saw a girl in a car. Somewhere in N.C. Got a new trailer, but I haven't pulled it yet. I guess i'm ready for Christmas-
