  1. good luck Ed, at least now you can fish more! If you catch one of those big halibuts, could you mail me a few fillets so I can grill 'em, and maybe smoke some?
  2. You two are good, i'll give you that!
  3. Yes, right there on rt. 51. I went up 51 to 136 going to Monongahela. There's a lot of monkey balls along 136 too, laying on the shoulder.
  4. I saw a Pileated Woodpecker in a tree too.
  5. this one?
  6. This week I saw a bird in the sky. A single axle B model dump truck is behind that hay baler in the shed, it's hard to get a clear picture of it though. A big yellow rock truck in Washington,Pa. A big red Mack truck in Monongahela, Pa. A big "whatever you call the thing the molten steel is in" down at Gerdau in Petersburg. A big Terex in Rostraver, Pa.
  7. Wow, what a beauty! I haven't seen anything that fine in Winfall.
  8. No doubt- goes faster and faster all the time.
  9. Happy birthday.
  10. He lived to a ripe old age anyway, 85.
  11. Just happened to see this on Facebook.
  12. Thank you Vlad, I don't know about the model, what it is.
  13. Thank you everyone for the kind words.
  14. Sorry about that, i've been working all morning trying to catch up. Time to get after these leaves now!
  15. I saw the sky too. I like seeing combines in the field. This one is my brother's- I see a lot more green ones than I do red ones. I bought a new lens for my camera too. It's almost like a paparazzi lens. Notice how you can't even see the girl on the roof adjusting the TV antenna until I zoom in on her.
  16. It's leaf blowing season again. I went to Winfall and hired some help this year. She wasn't the brightest, but she did excellent work. I've got a lot of leaves to blow, i'm gonna blow more as soon as I get offa here. I was pulling a different trailer and I didn't have my beveled wood and rubber mats with me to haul coils, so I had to buy some. It was expensive, $102 for 4 pieces of wood and 4 rubbers. The rubber was ridiculous, $14.99 each- more than the wood, which was $8.99 each. The only good thing was they brought it out and put it on the trailer for me. And when I was in Winfall I saw another Winfall wimmen looking for some part time work, so I brought her along so she could wash and wax the pickup. She also did excellent work.
  17. Come to think of it, I think I did post the link to my Flickr pictures....oh well, anyhow- how about this model? I saw a dog there too. A girl in a car. Some pictures might be reruns, I don't know. Skid steers I picked up in Kansas and took to Pa. And here's an airplane on a trailer in Missouri- And last but not least, if you've been wondering about Vision386, here's a top secret picture of him at a top secret meeting that was somehow leaked. I think he somehow got this picture out as a cry for help.
  18. I saw some big Mack trucks in Colfax, N.C. at the truck show. Hope I didn't post these before. I'll save the best for last-
  19. Wow, and this is the first i've even heard of this!
  20. We were not- I mean I was not holed up at some truckstop, I was at the New Stanton service plaza on the Pa. Turnpike. I delivered a load of structural steel to a job site in New Stanton at the end of Technology Drive. I knew how to get there because the Pitt-Ohio guy gave me directions to where I took the skid steer loader a few weeks ago, and I turned right at the end of Technology Drive to deliver the loader. Tim Jumper says he could have given me better directions though.
  21. But i'll tell you, all joking aside- no, really this time- i've been busier than a 3 legged cat covering up poo. Or a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. I think I had 4 days off the entire month of October, probably about the same in September, and only 2 up til now in November. I haven't had much spare time at all, and last weekend there were issues with the site, so I didn't get on at all, and had to leave Sunday of course.
  22. I saw a big Mack truck. It was blue.
  23. Is that what they call Solite around here?
  24. I don't know about all that, I never tried it. But the 77 F model I drove with a 300/5 speed would definitely pull 25 tons up Christiansburg Mountain in 4th. gear. In a van trailer too.
