Turns out the ol' Saturn was totalled. She got a check for it in the mail yesterday.
Tomorrow she's going to go get this Impala.
I went by that used car lot- same one we got the Saturn from by the way- to look at a 2007 Malibu. She didn't like the Malibu, she liked the Impala. I said "you don't want that Impala, you want the Malibu." She said "I don't like that Malibu, I like the Impala." I said "you don't want that Impala, it's too big for you, and probably way more expensive." So we got the keys to both of them and she drove the Impala. All we did was sit in the Malibu, and I said "you're right, I like the Impala." It was way cleaner on the inside, and it was a 2001 model- you couldn't tell it had ever been sat in. And, it was the same price as the Malibu and only has 77,000 miles on it. The Malibu had 133,000.
I did some work too, I went to Neville Island with a load of beams. I hope we're done with snow and ice now.
While I was sitting there waiting to get unloaded this guy pulls in, stops right in the middle of the driveway, gets out, locks both doors, and saunters inside to check in. He had everything blocked-all he had to do was wait a few seconds until the guy in front of his truck put his tarps away, and he could have pulled in and gotten out of the way.
Must be that Volvo thing.
I saw a big Mack truck.
I went to Houston too, I left last Saturday so I could deliver Monday. It's nice and green down that way- hot too!
Lots of traffic on the road last Sunday.
