  1. Thanks High Binder, that's just sharp looking!..and at this particular time, I cain't afford nuthin'. Ive seen this truck before and wished it were mine, and I saw it listed for sale a while back for $5900, but i've spent so much money lately it might as well have been a million.
  2. Noice!..that's Australian by the way.
  3. But you've never seen me in action- "mediocre" might be a complement!..wait- many things?..like what?..what did those jackasses say about me this time?
  4. But, on the other hand, he might have been like a good friend of mines- he made a "go-cart" out of an old riding mower for his son. It was as fast as a riding mower, but it looked like a real go cart. His son learned to drive on this when he was about 5 years old. So, that might be what made you the fantastic driver that you are today. I learned to drive on a Farmall C when I was 4 or 5 years old, i'm pretty sure that's what made me the mediocre driver i'm is today.
  5. Hatcity said it was nice where he was...
  6. Hatcity said "it wasn't too bad around here". He's such a jackass.
  7. This is probably the right color for the Nova-
  8. Here's a picture of the Nova. It's not a good picture, but it's about the only one I have. It was actually blue but you can't tell by this picture! I have no photos of the Chevelle I had, but it looked just like this- dark green, darker green vinyl top, white stripes on the hood and trunk. This one has the cowl induction hood, it's probably got the LS6 454. Mines had the 396/350, which was actually the 402 c.i. big block. And it was bored .030 over, had a Crane cam, 780 Holley, Edelbrock Tarantula intake...it was nice! And this is actually Herb Ketter's picture, but my engine looked just like this- Tarantula intake, the carb. sat a little sideways on it, and I had the same air filter and the same Accel Super Coil ignition. That was about the only air filter option, or the hood wouldn't close. He also had a big block Chevelle, but I think he had a 427.
  9. We have a big red Taylor fork lift at the shop- And this one too. It will lift about as much as the Taylor, but it doesn't have any brakes- however, it does have a screamin' Detroit. 1958FWD would love it! And here's a big yellow Taylor I saw in Chicago-
  10. Yes!
  11. That's just amazing to me!..and I thought it was amazing to see two six cylinder Chevy II's turning 11's at Suffolk dragway in the 70's- unheard of for a six cylinder at the time, around here anyway. I had a low 14 second '72 350 Nova and a high 13 second 70 Chevelle SS 396 that I thought were fast- They were fast to me, but they'd be like riding a turtle to Paul and Larry!
  12. I know! But that old Chevrolet is the cat's ass for me- outstanding! And the Keystone Superliner, the Schroyer D800, the yellow Ford, the cracker box, the Dodges, the Hooters girls- all great! I thought the D800 was a D860, but it's a D800 with a 4-71. And Mark- Vision386- and nocluejoe66 both said they were having difficulty getting on the site too. Man, that Chevrolet is bad-ass- I like it!
  13. A horse might bite you- boobage is much safer to be around...most of the time- depends on who's boobage I guess.
  14. ...and, in the Winfall news, high winds from a storm in Australia apparently blew a kangaroo all the way to downtown Winfall.
  15. Sorry for your loss.
  16. I'm going with you!
  17. I'll have to tell Mark on facebook that it's a fiddy-figh Fode- he said "fitty six Foad".
  18. I saw a plane and another plane a "fitty six Foad" (vision386) ...some big Mack trucks. another big Mack truck- I got held up in Winfall on the way home today because they were paving rt. 501. And this girl was hitch-hiking, trying to catch a ride to Gladys, but I didn't have time to stop.
  19. The Rockingham, N.C. race track- it doesn't look like much from here, this would be outside of turns 3 and 4, but it's just over a one mile high banked track that put on some great races in it's day- 492 laps were 500 miles, I think it was like 1.07 miles. I went to Griffin Pipes with a load of sand and saw these carp swimming around in the James River. Who comes up with these names? A girl in a car. Some horses in a field.
  20. Thanks for that bit of info Larry, I might just do that. We have a driver that used to be the service manager at Cardinal Chevrolet in Appomattox and he said the same thing- about the intake gaskets, not the antifreeze- that that was about the only issue with those cars, the intake gaskets.
  21. I was doing a google search to see if I could find any info about the gun battle in the parking lot in Ivor last week and found this BMT thread mentioned. I guess nobody ever noticed the mouse in this picture,eh?
  22. Wow! Ma had a '65 two door with a 327 and a powerglide, it was nice, ran great too. I once had a '68 four door Impala with a 283 and powerglide, now that was a large car. It didn't really run what i'd describe as being great, it was a little bit under-powered.
  23. Thanks, it's actually a 2002, I thought it was a 2001.
  24. What else...oh, I saw a dump truck dumping some dogs... The Diamond T i've posted before, but this is a pretty good picture of it. ...and a girl in a car from the interweb- And my girl friend wanted me to buy her a car too, since I have to pay the difference on the Impala and what Jo got for the Saturn. I said "I ain't gonna buy you a car, but I will buy you a new pair of jeans, since those are torn all to pieces!"
