And all I got was a wing, Mack and Tim got to it first- but if not for that brave chopper pilot and that delicious "original recipe" KFC wing- "extra crispy" is for those who love extra crunch, but it's all finger lickin' good- I might not be here today. And i'm not getting paid to promote the delicious KFC original or extra crispy chicken that's hand prepared daily by our- I mean their- chicken chefs, it's just because it is sooooo good! And now, For the first time ever KFC is offering 10 pieces of freshly prepared chicken for only $10

Yeah, Me, Tim, and Mack all summited that day. We all had a sammich and took pictures of each other on top of the hill.

I planted them around the first of May I think, you can pretty much plant whatever you want around here by then without having to worry about frost. My brother brought me a small box full too-

I didn't take the blurry picture, some other jack ass did. The food was all good though, none of the food was blurry. I cooked all the meat, Jo made some macaroni salad and some home made baked beans, straight out of a Bush's Baked Beans can.

This was later, I think I was making a to-go plate for Ma here, I didn't take any good pictures of while I was cooking or the finished product before it had been started on. I always pull the meat apart on the boston butts when they're done and throw all of the fat and yucky stuff away- or the biggest part of it anyway, leaving only the lean meat. After I got back from Petersburg I took a load of pipes up to Leesburg, Va. I saw a girl in a car- And a palatial estate way over yonder. Big money! I saw some foxes there too. An orange loader. Pipes.

That's enough of that nonsense, i'm sure everybody's tired of seeing pictures of a girl in a car, so here's a big ear of corn. A girl in a Jeep. A girl in a red car. Getting unloaded in Petersburg. Three stretch trailers stacked up to save parking spaces at the shop. They're so heavy because of the double frames that they don't get used very often. A girl in a white car.

I've been busier than a one legged cat covering up doo-doo, but I did get a few pictures this week. I didn't get them posted yesterday because I had a major cook-out in the back yard- I smoked a couple of boston butts and made some pulled pork barbecue, did three racks of ribs, some teriyaki marinated skinless boneless chicken thighs, and hamburgers too. I was working by myself to get everything cooked, had two grills and the smoker going at the same time, but everything came out great! Everybody said everything was good, so I was happy. I even picked green beans out of the garden Friday evening when I got home, and cooked them in the crock pot with some new potatoes I dug. My Ma was here, one of my brothers, two sons, grand chern, nieces, some friends, and some strangers that were passing by and saw smoke and decided to stop. I left last Sunday and deadheaded to Chicago to get another long load of tubing. This one went to Petersburg. I saw many girls in many cars too. Cabover on I- 70 just west of Dayton. Too bad the passenger window was up, as usual, but the boobage on display here was awesome!

Well, nobody told me I had to do all that!.. But I do know a dignitary in Fork Union, or who will soon be in Fork Union, who's authority overrides all the previous wannabe dignitaries mentioned who thought they had some authority to authorize some things that may or may not have needed to be authorized in the first place to do things that might have needed authorization by an authority to be done.

Oh, by the way, i've never tried Iron City beer. I've heard people say it was horrible, some people said it was great, some said IC light was good but regular IC was horrible, and vice-versa- what's your opinion?

Wow, thanks for the info! I only go there about twice a year, but they're good paying loads out of B&W- the loads pay both ways, that's why I could deadhead back to Dillwyn to pick up the Sanford load.

Nothing out of the ordinary around here, but they caught hell over in West Virginia though. I came across the turnpike to Breezewood and down when I left McKeesport the other day to get to Dillwyn as quickly as possible. Normally I would have taken I-79 to rt.19 to Summersville, then rt.39 to Nettie, and rt.20 to rt.60 at Charmco. It's a good thing I didn't go that way, or I might still be over there somewhere. I've got to leave early tomorrow and deadhead to Chicago with a stretch trailer and pick up another long load at Atlas Tube going to Petersburg, Va. Got a 7am appointment time to load Monday morning.

Oh, I even saw a big Mack truck in Harrisonburg. And yet another girl in another car in N.C. I saw Bobby Moore's Transtar in Concord, turning onto 460 off of rt. 24. This was an absolute top of the line tractor when it was new in the late 70's. 400 Cummins, 13 speed, Eagle package, it was owned by Montague-Betts Steel and Bobby Moore drove it. When Montague-Betts got rid of their trucks- they had about 4 IH's and a couple of Brockway cabovers- Bobby Moore bought this truck from them. He had driven it since Montague-Betts bought it new. They had another Eagle just like it except it was brown, tan, and white. H.H. Moore bought that one, and hired the same guy that drove it for Montague-Betts and he drove it for H.H.Moore until H.H. traded it. Bud sale- buy 2 twelve packs, get the third twelve pack for one cent!..yes, one cent! I wasn't too hoggish, I only got 6 twelve packs, but I do know someone who got 60!

A girl- in a car. After I went to Mountain Top, Pa. with a load of pipes, then to Morrisville, then to Richmond, I went to the shop and got a van and went up to B&W and picked up a load of scrap stuff going to McKeesport,Pa. I was sitting over here backed up to the dock getting unloaded, observing the trucks on the outbound scales. The truck on the scales before this truck was over gross, so this loader came over and took a big chunk of metal off and dropped it in this pile. Then this truck must have been too light, because the loader man picked up the same piece he'd taken off the first truck and put it on this one. I went from McKeesport to Dillwyn, Va. empty to get a load of Kyanite going to Sanford,N.C. I stopped at the service plaza on the turnpike to get a sammich and pulled in beside this Quickway driver stretched out in his sleeper snoozing. One rock truck going up, two rock trucks coming down. They must go in the same clockwise direction for safety reasons- pretty good idea, that hill side is probably steeper than it looks in the picture, and it looks pretty steep! I was trying to figure out what kind of truck this is...I just don't know.

Then I saw the shipyard in Philadelphia. And then, believe it or not, I saw another girl in another car! And yep, another girl in another car- Saw a cabover White pulling a log trailer. Deer crossing the road. A g- never mind, it's pretty self-explanatory.

I saw a neat looking triple-double decker bus going north on I-81 in Pa. this week. I saw a girl in a car going north on I-81 in Pa. this week. She gets two pictures- I saw mountains- ...and tunnels- I picked up some steel in Morrisville, Pa. Had a little damage on the corners there- Then I saw another girl in another car.
