  1. You're exactly right about that, I was spraying the siding on the house with the garden hose the whole time the shed was burning to keep it from igniting. I was just sitting here going over my list of what was in there, and looking at Northern Tool, Lowes, True Value, and Wal Mart websites trying to figure out the value. I'm up over $2500 already and i'm sure I forgot some things.
  2. I've never heard of anyone having anything bad to say about the man.
  3. I had three plastic gas cans in there too, along with the metal one. One metal one was empty and was outside the shed, I just kept it because it was old.
  4. The crew got it on the road pretty quick-
  5. I went over to the shop and got a tarp yesterday- Stopped by the store in Winfall on the way home...
  6. As a matter of fact, they're inspecting things now!
  7. I'm out of likes again, but I agree 100%!
  8. If you can save the picture to your PC instead of posting directly from your phone you can resize the picture first, that's what I do. Well, I put them from my camera to the PC, I don't take many phone pictures. I don't know if you can resize them with a smart phone, or change the settings to make the pictures you take smaller, I still use a Motorola flip phone.
  9. Overnite was a non-union company, the largest non-union co. I believe, and just about everybody that worked there talks about what a great company it was to work for before UPS took them over. They have an Overnite facebook page for former workers, have reunions, etc. but I haven't seen or heard any of them say anything about it being great after UPS.
  10. My poorly photo chopped pictures might be done poorly, but after years of practice they aren't too bad. Yours however, is horrible- keep practicing.
  11. I've had that craftsman tool box since 1974.
  12. This week, I saw a new Lonestar at the shop. Damn nice looking trucks they are! This one has a ISX550 Cummins with an 18 speed. I saw my shed burn down, almost taking the house with it. I can only assume that a spark got from the smoker, and either caught the leaves on fire or blew over to the shed. It's been terrible dry here and I was inside instead of keeping an eye on it, but i'd only been in a few minutes, and that's all it takes. My Craftsman tool box that i've had since 1974. Hey, my drill! Crafstman tool box i've had since 1974, after I picked some wrenches and sockets out of the debris. My chain saws, a grinder, and one of those things at bottom left is my Stihl leaf blower, the other one is a weed eater. ...and check out this coil rack- and this is a heavy steel coil rack, not the flimsy ones you usually see. And the set of dies in the plastic case that i've had since 1974 is barely damaged! The pocket knife was in my tackle box, probably had it since the '60's. The blade was broken, but it had a fish scaler, hook remover, and a bottle opener on it. A couple of Mepps spinners and a couple of spoons were about all that was left of the tackle box i've had since I was a kid. Found some hooks and swivels, rods and reels gone of course. I was going to throw these ratchets in the scrap metal pile, but then I remembered the Craftsman guarantee. Oh, and I found this little bell. I didn't know I had it, don't know where it came from, but it was in the Craftsman tool box that i've had since 1974- and it still works. This will come in really handy when i'm sitting here watching TV and need another cup of coffee or another beer, I can just ring the bell and Jo will jump and get m.......................................................................................................
  13. I agree 100%!
  14. I've never been to Canada, but i've always heard that from drivers who did run Canada, that it was a lot bigger pain in the ass to get back across to the U.S. than it was to get into Canada. I was in Detroit once, in the 80's, and could have went to Windsor to get a load of lumber, but I turned it down. If I was going to Canada I didn't want to cross the border just so I could say i'd been there, like I did in Mexico, I wanted to go to Moose Jaw or somewhere.
  15. I just hope Kanye and Rosie made it to Canada before they stepped up their border patrol.
  16. thanks Bob!
  17. thank you Vlad!
  18. I don't know if this is true, I think it is, but even if it's not it pretty much sums up how I feel- https://victorialsanders.wordpress.com/2016/11/12/hate-didnt-elect-donald-trump-people-did/ And this map, I was looking for a picture of the map without any captions, shows the counties in the U.S. that supported Trump and those that supported Hillary. The red area supported Donald Trump- all of rural America, the heartland of America, the working class of America, the people who make America what it is, regardless of their skin color or what church they go to, for the most part they supported Donald Trump. So, if not for the electoral college, the majority of the thugs, criminals, miscreants, deadbeats, and city-slickers- er, uh, I mean population- that lives in the blue area could impose their will on the entire rest of the country, and that just ain't right.
  19. grrrr-
  20. You'd rather sandpaper a wildcat's ass in a telephone booth than take that unit out in the snow.
  21. I use these-
  22. I'm out of likes, used them all up on the snowflake thread, so i'm just gonna copy somebody else's post and re-use it.
