  1. That Dodge is just way cool looking! And I googled power giant to see what I could see, and you might have a valuable gem there! http://www.hotrod.com/cars/barn-finds/116-0704-1958-dodge-700-truck/ http://www.faxonautoliterature.com/1969-Dodge-CT900-C1000-Power-Giant-Engine-Original-Repair-Shop-Manual-P16070.aspx
  2. free- added bonus pictures! picked up this rock in Moneta, because it was pretty. We picked up a new bigger bed for Other Dog because he would hang his head out of his old one, the one at the top of the picture...go figure! Trying out my new smoker today, cooking a chicken on a can. ...and Rowdy Rebel thinks he's got it bad- my shoes won't even stay put from one week to the next!
  3. No Randy, I didn't get any "girl in a car" pictures this week, so here's a picture of some Winfall woman with a catfish, from the interweb.
  4. I saw a sleeping- no, wait, his eyes are open...never mind. Saw some new Kenworths- no, wait, one's an International...never mind. Saw a blue truck. Finally- cooling off a little! I saw a train... and a cement mixer ...and something with bright orange hair in McKees Rocks, Pa. Saw a nice R model with an impressive load of logs in West Virginia. Damn, that's a nice load of logs! Nice Autocar in Rupert, W.V. 4wd Chevrolet pickup in Moneta, Va. It either has rear wheel steering or a major problem. A Unimog and a Peterbilt in Canvas, W.V. Both are yellow...very yellow.
  5. Can't argue with that, sure looks like it!
  6. I see she's got the leopard thing going on too- she wears it much better!
  7. Hey, that's the job I want! Every time Todd asks me what I want to do I always say "go home and get paid for it." It's never worked so far though.
  8. If i'd seen yours in the bunch I would have express mailed it to you. Only famous person's I saw was David Strickland's.
  9. I don't remember for sure, but I think it was up on 29 somewhere.
  10. I had 11 issues of Double Clutch in the mail box Thursday, tied up in a bundle. I kept mine and Jo took the rest back to the post office. Mine was on the bottom with the address showing so they all came here. One went to Brookneal, with is near here, but most of the others were going to southwest Va. I remember seeing Pearisburg, Dublin, Independence, Cana, so I don't know why they ended up at the Gladys post office anyway.
  11. I didn't see much this week, so once again I only took a few pictures. I didn't even do much this week- went to Chantilly Monday, came back to Lynchburg to get a load of pipes going to Pittsburgh Tuesday but they didn't have the pipes, so I took a load of sheet steel and one coil to Charlotte. Picked up another load of steel in Charlotte and took it to Richmond, then brought a load of pallets back to Lynchburg- the only load all week that I didn't have to tarp, and the heat and humidity has been awful...brutal! I didn't even have to refuel all week, but I was getting nervous about making it back to the shop from Moneta this morning- both low fuel lights were on. Put in 226 gallons at the shop- it only holds 270, and I was afraid it would conk out coming up Oxford Furnace hill. I saw some new units at the shop- Saw lots of traffic headed towards D.C. on 66 Tuesday morning. I saw a girl in a car on 29. I saw a big Mack wrecker, but I missed most of it. I saw a little wrecker in Richmond too. Saw a B.J.and the Bear looking truck in Charlotte. I saw another girl in another car in Charlotte too. And I saw a couple of NASCAR haulers heading up 85 to Richmond. This is Kevin Harvick's hauler- nice Pete!
  12. Yes, I just clicked on the link and the site says "Now we can protect your Mac too".
  13. I'd offer to drive it over, but it doesn't have a steering wheel.
  14. Unfortunately I have to take off to northern Va. sometime today. I've got a load of coils going to Chantilly, up near Dulles Airport. I don't like going to that part of the world any time, I suppose the traffic will be more horrible than usual today.
  15. well if you're going to do all that, I shall put forth more effort to make it next year myself.
  16. Just some computer info that might be helpful to some- When I had a guy in Appomattox work on my old computer he installed a program called malwarebytes. It scans for malware and potentially unwanted programs. I installed it on this computer too, and they have a free version- https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/ I also heard about this on the radio a couple of weeks ago- https://getadblock.com/ It's free too, or payment optional, and it works. It blocks the youtube and facebook ads that annoy the crap out of me!
  17. I'm gonna look for a used Chrysler New Yorker so I can get me some of that!
  18. Well, much like HeavyGunner said- there's an old saying "love the sinner, hate the sin". I don't know if that's in the Bible or not, but I do know the Bible says "There is none who is without sin, no, not one, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
  19. ribs and loins smoking- loin, ribs, chicken, burgers... cold drinks... dog...
  20. I went to American Waterworks?..it was something like that. I took 422 to 286, went towards town, they were on the right across from a Wendy's. Couldn't make the right, so I turned around in a shopping center and turned left into their driveway- it was still a tight turn.
  21. Got some ribs, some chicken, pork loin, hamburgers, hot dogs- the usual!
  22. I didn't see much this week, therefore I didn't take pictures of much. I went to the shop Monday morning to get a load of pipes going to somewhere on Campbell's Run Road, just off of 376 just west of 79 just west of Pittsburgh, but I traded that load for a load of lumber going to Conneaut Lake. I saw this dove there- and this chipmunk that ran out from under a stack of lumber. Quick little fellow, he rarely stopped moving long enough for me to get a picture. Saw this big Mack truck in Hubbard when I was going to Truck World. Saw two well dressed scantily clad wimmins going into the Sheetz in Madison Heights. Later I saw them coming out of the Sheetz in Madison Heights. They were in a blue car. I took a load of pipes to Indiana, Pa. Wednesday. There was an accident on 81 in Harrisonburg, so I went up rt.11. I saw a pedestrian and a 25mph. speed limit sign at James Madison University. Saw a big-ass wrecker in Troutville.
