  1. It actually came off this 5000 Ford tractor. The one that's now on the Saturn came from this Mack.
  2. We used to unhook the wagons too when we had to back one into the shed or barn. Then we would hook the tongue to the bumper on the front of the tractor and back it in, made it a little easier...or probably a lot easier.
  3. Coming up next- "a-holes who put $2,000 worth of 20'' 'rims' and tires on their $500 POS cars"...stay tuned!
  4. I had to order one for a 5'' stack today, couldn't find one at the parts store- biggest they had was a 2''. When it comes in i'm gonna hack saw it off square and put the rain cap on for her. NoClueJoe66 got her a special helmet to wear when she's driving too, even has her nickname on it- "krash bandy-koot"
  5. I put a couple of extra rolls of duct tape in the car for her. That should take care of any problems.
  6. Looked at one down at P.L.Duncan's, also red with a 290 Cummins and 10 speed. First one i'd ever seen except in pictures. P.L.'s was in really nice shape. I don't think he wanted to sell it at the time, but George Tackaberry wanted it bad. I wouldn't mind having it myself.
  7. And best of all, my stack didn't go to the junk pile- I already found a home for it. Jo will be so surprised- i'm sure she'll love it.
  8. I didn't realize I was looking like an idiot because of my one stack Ranger, I thought it was because of pretty much everything else I did. Anyhow, I spent all morning taking my stack off and redoing every thing. Here's my new look- looks factory, eh?
  9. Yeah, there's some hard pulls on 422. Not too long but really steep, especially the one before you get to Nolo. They have good pizza at the store at the top of the hill though.
  10. Road shots, rt.20 in W.V. Nice Jeep trail down that power line. A Burns' Mack down past this big woodpile. A girl in a car. Saw this girl in Winfall on the way home last night. She appeared to be having mechanical difficulties and tried to flag me down, but it was getting dark so I didn't stop. The rest of the fish story-
  11. I was looking on the computer for a picture of my pickup to photo chop for research purposes and ran across these. I hadn't biggerized them and read the captions for a long time, thought it was pretty funny, worthy of a re-run. And how about this one- I don't think this particular movie ever got made did it? I need to order the DVD from Amazon if it did. I took some new pictures this week too. This is a dragon fly that was on the ground by my truck. This is a big Mack truck with a load of pulpwood. This is a big Mack truck with a load of chips. This is at Welfer Street and Beechwood Blvd. in Pittsburgh. Site of U.S. Steel's Homestead Works. About the only evidence of it ever being there are the smokestacks. Part of it was on this side too. I loaded beams there once. You can see the Carrie Furnace way in the background, across the river.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrie_Furnace You turned off the bridge to get into U.S.Steel, I loaded over to the left. I think they made beams there and plates on the other side. I was there in the early 80's. This is the door to the offices at Gal-Tech. Road shot, from the toll road between Uniontown, Pa. and Morgantown, W.V. A big pile of wood. Dismantled FWD at the Mead-Westvaco woodyard at Rupert, W.V. Don't know if it's being refurbished or being scrapped. Pretty good picture of this plane for just holding the camera up to the window and snapping without looking. Big machines. Trailer's dog-legging pretty bad! Big motor.
  12. I didn't go overboard with mines, I just got a one-stack Ranger...looks awesome though, eh?
  13. Well, ive never mentioned this before, but i'm actually an eskimo from somewhere up in the great white north. I was chasing a seal in my kayak one day when a polar bear started chasing me.I started paddling furiously to get away, and just kept paddling and paddling. Next thing I knew, I had paddled that kayak all the way to Gladys. I got away from the polar bear, but I was too tired to paddle all the way back, so I just decided to stay here. I like it all right, but you can't find decent blubber around here anywhere...and that's my story.
  14. My uncle bought a brand new one in 68 or 69 I think, 383 4 speed. It was blue with a black top, definately bad-ass!
  15. I've only been to Montana one time. That was in January a few years ago and I remember thinking then that it was the prettiest place i'd ever seen. I get into some traffic, but it's not usually too bad. I do most of my running across West Virginia and Western Pa. We've got guys that run northeast all the time, to D.C, Baltimore, N.Y, N.J. Ct, etc. Now that I couldn't handle, but they like it.
  16. I got those at the Walmart store in Altavista, there's a Sam's Club in Lynchburg but i'm not in the club.
  17. I grilled some ribs yesterday- Oops, wrong picture, that's not ribs, that's grilling tools.Theses are ribs- After a short rain delay I wrapped them to finish cooking them. I was only going to cook the beast ribs, but I picked up the pork spare ribs at the last minute for back-up, just in case the beef ribs sucked. Which they did. I'm done trying to find decent beef ribs, all I ever get are all bone, fat, and gristle. Waste of money, i'm sticking to hog ribs from now on.
  18. Doesn't matter, I didn't see any of them either. Unless that's what's harassing this crow- if it is, I saw one!
  19. I think that's Randy V. Yardumian in the trench coat, holding extra small.

  20. I saw another one in Nettie but I couldn't get a picture. I was going to turn right on rt. 20 and he was coming from the other direction and was going to make a left on 20. I told him to go ahead because he had an empty log trailer. I probably would have held him up if he'd had a loaded log trailer.
  21. Don't know anything about it really, I guess it was somebody's goat that wandered off and found a home on that cut. I've seen it there for several years, sometimes way up high and a couple of times grazing right down by the side of the road. Now I always look for it when I go by there.
  22. Got this message on Skype this week- [6/9/2015 4:49:15 AM] *** it closed because, I know that if they become aware that Mr Daniel is now late, they will corner the funds for themselves. Therefore, I am seeking your co-operation to present you as the one to benefit from his fund at his death since you have the same name, so that my bank head quarters will pay the funds to you. I have done enough inside bank arrangement and you only have to put in your details into the information network in the bank computers and reflect you as his next of kin. I am not a greedy person, so I am suggesting we share the funds equal, 50/50% to both parties My share will assist me to start a charity organization to help the poor and also own a company which has been my dream. Let me know your mind on this and please do treat this information as TOP SECRET. Mohammed Khalil mohammadkhalilndu@gmail.com *** I get several contact requests a week from strange women- or at least they claim to be women- but never got one of these before. I've gotten similar e-mails before though. I've only got one person on my Skype contacts, and that's Old Bill.
