Yep, I mean if I could have just gotten a little bit farther ahead there would have been so much more to see...just a couple of feets- a couple of feets, and I couldn't get them! Notice she was wearing a dress pulled up to her waist, that's her left leg up against the door...that's the one that got away! Here's my all time favorite- I took it on I-85 north of Charlotte about 7 or 8 or 10 years ago.

Rt. 340, near Harpers Ferry W.V. This was the old Fulton terminal in Stephens City, then Swift bought Fulton and took it over, now the sign out front says Purdy Brothers.

Some girls in some cars- This might have been one of the best "a girl in a car" pictures ever, if only I could have gotten a few more feets forward- I couldn't get there because I was behind a Burns truck loaded with lumber. More big yellow machines. That rock wears stuff out pretty quick, looks like some new bodies there. When I went by going west the day before there was a truck there with a load of new tires sitting there and I noticed several rock trucks that they had already put new tires on. Wonder what one of those tires cost? A girl in a blue VW beetle. A big orange International, near Gettysburg, Pa.

I've got to go up that hill when that big Mack dump truck gets down it. After I got unloaded I had to wait for them to blow up a rock pile before I could leave. A girl in a car. Scraper in Canton, Oh. Big Mack dump truck in Canton. Some wimmins and some dogs in Beaver, Pa.

I got around a bit this week- I took a load of pipes to Sterling, Va. then went to Wellsville, Pa. and dropped my trailer at Pennex Aluminum and pulled one of their conestogas to Canton, Oh. I called Freightrain and he told me exactly how to get to the place I was delivering to. Then I went to Leetsdale, Pa. and picked up a load going to Farrell, Pa, then from Farrell I went up to Erie and picked up a box- some kind of tubing in a wooden crate. When they said it was "just one box, weighs 850 pounds" I was expecting it to be a regular size box, like shoe box size, maybe a little bigger- and it was about the height and width of a shoe box, but it was 25 feets long! So I took the box back to Wellsville and they loaded it onto the trailer I had dropped there, and I brought it to the yard. Here's a few pictures I took along the way- Property of who?.. No, it's a single axle, cream colored or very light tan, looks good from the road, but there's nowhere to pull over in a truck there to take a really close look. However, as always, if anybody on here is interested I would be glad to ride down there and take a look, it's not that far from here. And no, i'm not familiar with the Dutch Valley Restaurant, i've never stopped there- do they have truck parking? Joey Moore told me at the shop they other day that i've gotten so fat he was going to put a tread mill by the fuel pump, so I can work out on the tread mill while i'm getting fuel. Since I stopped smoking I do tend to eat a lot!

A long ways!

Never seen them going through the locks, but just seeing this come up the river was impressive. It came straight under the bridge, then turned- I thought it was going over to a dock over to the right, but it came straight up the river. That's a lot to handle right there-that's a long ways from the back of the tug boat to the front of the front barge- a long ways! And the time on the first picture was 8:49am, the last one was 8:53am!

Another boat on the river- Not a Mack, but still a nice picture I thought. This was on rt. 39 in Ohio, when I was on the way back from loading bricks in Sugar Creek. Another girl by another car, Fairplain, W.V. A big Mack dump truck for sale. A girl in a car. A V8 Massey Ferguson up here on rt.29, across from Foster Fuels. Single axle R model for sale on rt.501, just north of Halifax. Holy mackerel, what a rack! R model in W.V.

They have 25 hot girls there, I don't know how many ugly ones they have, the sign didn't say. It's right down the street from Tiffany's Cabaret, the original gentlemen's club. A girl by a car in Chester, W.V. Some big Mack trucks passing by on rt. 2- nice Superliner! Big boat on the Ohio River.

Some truck pictures I saw when I was looking at pictures of the flood in Nelson County in August,1969 on the Lynchburg newspaper's website. Looks like a crane on a train turned over onto an R model, the other is an English Construction B model dump truck, out of Altavista, Va.
