  1. Wonderful, it's 847 Heddake St, Hellertown,Pa.
  2. Tell her to calm down, she's not making you a cake she's making you a pan of home made bistits...wit sausage and gravy.
  3. They're making a cake now...or bistits...or something.
  4. I don't know, it usually has the image date at the bottom, but I don't see it on this picture.
  5. What she really did-
  6. I talked to him a while in Winchester last year, real nice guy.
  7. How much is the toll on the George Washington Bridge now? I remember when it was $20...$9.25 to run the W.V. Turnpike...$21 to go from Breezewood to Ohio on the Pa. Turnpike, class5.
  8. I probably had more weight in the side box than he had in the trailer.
  9. .
  10. Cut, copy, and paste. Had all the letters I needed except the y.
  11. I'm glad your scanner is working for you, i've got several photo albums full of pictures and my scanner quit working. I bought an HP printer/scanner/copier several years ago. Now it's just a printer/copier, if I try to scan a picture it says "scanner not found". I tried uninstalling and re-installing it several times but it still won't scan. Same as my webcam- I used to talk to Old Bill on skype, then the camera just quit, and I get the same message...stupid computer (Freightrain,2011).
  12. Yeah, I was surprised- I was expecting it to be about 80 degrees, but it was 35 when I got up Tuesday morning. All the guys at the job site were bundled up like eskimos, with parkas and ski masks- all you could see was their eyes. I had a jacket on.
  13. I have more Bob, the first one just stands alone because of Randy's celebrity status. Texas was pretty nice, first time i'd been there for a couple of years. I just set the cruise control on W.F.O, didn't have to worry about getting a ticket. Stopped at the TA in Rockwall Monday evening, figured I would leave there early Tuesday morning and beat the traffic getting into Dallas. Found a prime parking spot, facing the exit, with a "no parking" area in front of me...then some jackass pulls into it anyway, facing me, gets out with his black turban on and goes inside. I got up about 4am and he was still there, so I had to back out with a truck on each side of me and another truck parked behind me in a no parking area. Should have crossed his air lines for him. Then you get behind this guy- the sign on the back of the trailer says "make the right move" and he stayed in the left lane for miles running 10 mph. under the speed limit trying to pass the other truck. I know he can't help it if that's all the truck will do, but it does get aggravating. I-40 in Tennessee. I reloaded in Blytheville, Ar. coming right back to Lynchburg. 5 beams, a little over 46,000 lbs. Here I am heading up 81 on the way back and getting my doors blown off by none other than Nocluejoe66. All I saw was his tail lights the rest of the way to Roanoke. Saw what was left of Mad Max the Superliner in Lynchburg.
  14. I went to Richardson, Texas this week-
  15. I wish they would put better coax and antennas on new trucks. They go to such great lengths to route everything through the mirror brackets and out in the ceiling to hide everything but it makes it nearly impossible to replace without taking the truck apart. We used to get most of our radio work done at a CB shop in Bedford, and the guy always complained that they used the sorriest, cheapest coax and antennas money could buy on brand new KWs.
  16. I was going up rt. 220 in W.V. on the way to Oakland, Md. one time and caught a glimpse of one parked in a field. I thought it was a D860 so I made it a point to go that way again and stopped to look at it. It was like the one in the picture, with the big 6 gas engine. That was several years ago, I don't know if it's still there or not. It's far left in this google earth picture, right behind the combine.
  17. Holy mackerel, never heard of a turkey that big- you sure it wasn't an ostrich?
  18. Good spot to post this Dodge I saw on facebook today. This is the best looking big truck/pickup conversion i've seen!
  19. Yes, she's pretty famous all right- this was taken from her facebook page. What's the old saying?..oh, I remember- "she's taken more shots to the face than Joe Frazier!"
  20. It has a collar and tags on it, the guys in the shop said it belongs to the people across the fence and through the woods. They called the number on the tag and a woman came and picked it up one day, and said they were about to move- maybe the dog doesn't want to go with them! It's a real nice dog, playful too.
  21. I haven't done anything this week...well, hardly anything. I had a tooth pulled Monday so I was off. I've still got my wisdom teeth but they don't seem to be helping much. The lower one on the passenger side, as Joe would say, was giving me trouble but it's severely impacted so the dentist pulled a good molar that was next to it instead of going after the wisdom tooth. I was all for that plan. Still got stitches in my mouth. Then Tuesday I called headquarters and they gave me the option of going to Buffalo, N.Y. empty to pick up 2 machines coming back to Bedford, Va. or going to Roanoke and picking up a load of structural steel going to Richardson, Tx. that delivers Monday. I picked option no. 2. I did see these big Mack trucks in Roanoke. I saw a dog when I got back to the shop. It's been hanging around for a couple of weeks now, very friendly. I saw a red sky ...and the sun going down. Just got a call from the lovely Teresa Moore- she said the Texas load doesn't deliver until Tuesday, so i'll leave Sunday instead of tomorrow.
  22. I like this one- photo courtesy of Russell Macneil.
  23. Here's a couple- photos courtesy of Russell Macneil.
  24. That reminds me...tomorrow i'm going over to the Winfall Mall and sit on Santa's lap.
  25. not burned- it's tender, moist, and dee-licious!
