  1. Gee, I really need to check my e mail more often- had 258 unread messages on aol. Oh, How about now? NEWESTBOOKPRINT_1_PDF.pdf
  2. Yes, it was Kenworth warranty. I had the trailer about 13 feet off the pavement, I stepped it off before I dropped it. I was still worried about it, but it was still there safe and sound when I went back to get it. It was at a pull-off right by a roadside vegetable stand.
  3. I got it on my hotmail e mail, I have to sign in on outlook.com to get my e mail. I'm gonna send it to myself on aol and see what happens.
  4. Anybody else get the link to work? https://a.gfx.ms//pdf_57.png What does this do, if anything?..nothing...never mind...stupid computers. (Freightrain,2002) https://col126.mail.live.com/mail/ViewOfficePreview.aspx?messageid=mgVHxzOttH5BGugwAhWtfbkA2&folderid=flinbox&attindex=1&cp=-1&attdepth=1&n=99545856 How about this?
  5. No smoke Vlad, it just lost power. I was going up the hills on rt. 50 in West Virginia about 25 mph. bobtailing. Cost me a trip and 2 days lost, but at least it didn't cost Jeff anything, it was all covered under warranty. He did pay me for my down time though.
  6. I sent him a link to the truck show pictures, and he sent me a link to his on-line biography...not sure if this will work, but i''l give it a try- https://col126.mail.live.com/mail/ViewOfficePreview.aspx?messageid=mgVHxzOttH5BGugwAhWtfbkA2&folderid=flinbox&attindex=1&cp=-1&attdepth=1&n=60217259 Hey, he even mentioned me in the "Ratty Truckstop" chapter- He asked me to get some pictures of the Steel City Truckstop if I was in the area, and I did and sent them to him, that was several years ago.
  7. The Conco is at P.L.Duncan's, not far from Fork Union at all.
  8. I didn't see the Dart. We were there from about 8:15 until 12:30 I think, and walked the place over and over and back again, I was pretty tired when we left. I heard a guy say there was over 300 trucks there, but I never heard an official count. There were quite a few that weren't there last year. I talked to the man who owned the U model, he's working on restoring two pup trailers and he said he hopes to have them ready by next year's show.
  9. I almost forgot, after a great trip to Winchester. My work week wasn't all that great- I left Monday going to Boyers, Pa. and got back Friday. The turbo went out on the truck Monday night in the middle of nowhere. I had to drop the trailer at a wide spot along the road and bobtail to Truck Enterprises in Keyser,W.V. They didn't have a turbo in stock and had to order one from Lancaster, Pa.so I was stuck there until about 5 pm. Wednesday. Bad turbo- New turbo- Road shots on rt. 50 in W.V. A rabbit. I saw myself again. Sunset. A girl in a car. Not a good picture, it was almost dark, but this time of year you have to take what you can get- seatcover season is almost over.
  10. This isn't a big truck, but still a nice ride. I saw it over at the motel where we were staying and thought "he should have this at the antique truck show". Turns out he was at the show. Drove the Suburban from Ashland, Ohio. I talked to him at the motel, and he said he got it at an estate sale, he was the second owner, and it had 30,000 actual miles on it. Had the original 350 engine. He said the original owner took all the chrome trim off when he bought it new so it wouldn't trap salt and rust it out, but he kept it all and it came with it when he bought it. He said he probably would never have found it otherwise. The yellow paint is original too, he repainted the white and had to redo the interior because the seats practically just crumbled when you sat in them, just from age. I got several compliments on my shirt. Here's a nice looking unit for sale- Another Mack for sale- Another Mack for sale- A yellow B 81. Wow! Nice load of logs. Sharp looking blue White. Outstanding V8 R Model! Outstanding buffet here!
  11. Here you go- https://www.flickr.com/photos/28526133@N04/
  12. I talked to the owner for a while, nice guy. He used to drive for Trans-Con. Great restoration on that truck! I have close-ups of the signs too. There ain't nuthin' like a V8 Mack. I'm too tired to continue...i'll get back at it in the morning...zzzzzzzzz...zzzzzzzz.....zzzzzzzzz...
  13. Lots of Superliners there too...is this a good pic or what? I'm still resizing and cropping pictures...
  14. Well shhhh-oot!.at least I got to see Mike! It was a great show, great weather, lots of trucks I hadn't seen before, lots of old favorites- and don't worry Ken, I took 297 pictures. I haven't processed them yet, but here's a few- I'll post a link to flickr or photobucket or where ever it is I put my pictures ASAP. The one thing that peed me off was the Ford cabover with the 903 Cummins. I was all the way across the lot when I said "hey- that's a 903! I haven't heard one of those in years!" So I went over to the registration tent and waited for him to fire it up again and drive off, so I could get the sound on video...and by the time I figured out how to set the camera on video, it was long gone. And all I had to do was press the little red button with the video camera emblem on it. Dang it- now i'll probably never hear another 903 running again. Had straight pipes on it too. I saw this truck there too, but I never saw the owner. Kept looking for him all day. Brocky probably knows him, how many Diamond T's could there be in Waterloo,S.C?
  15. Think we'll head to Winchester!

  16. Hope to see y'all there tomorrow, i'll be leaving here shortly.
  17. They put them in all our trucks because they got insurance cheaper. It starts recording if you reach 75mph. so mine records a lot on I-79 in W.V.
  18. I drained the gas tank, put new gas in it, took the carb. off, didn't see any dirt or trash in it, sprayed it out with WD40,still nothing. I didn't have any ether here. I guess if a new plug doesn't do anything i'll have to take it to a buffessional, but the plug was sparking good even when you pull the rope easy.
  19. Many were texting, but they weren't wearing short shorts.
  20. I get all the antique truck magazines that I know of, and I like them all. But Old Time Trucks has to be my favorite. Lot of Mack stuff in the last issue, and a very good article about Pacific trucks.
