  1. I know it's early for pictures of the week, but i'm taking a snow day so I figured i'd post what I got. I saw the Susquehanna River on the way to Narvon, Pa. Monday. Superliner dump truck at the landfill I delivered at. One sheep Two sheep Red sheep Blue sheep. These were at the landfill too, except the blue one- did a google image search for blue sheep. These goats were there on this hill too. Saw a cow too. I even went through Blue Balls- ball I mean, Blue Ball. Fleetstar International. Went over to Wellsville and loaded aluminum logs going to Petersburg, Va. Got them off last night and came home. They had a Diamond Reo Giant too, like they have at their plant in Greenville, Pa. and a Ford 8000 tipper trucks. The Shenandoah river near Harpers Ferry, W.V. Saw some dinosaurs and a shark, an octopus, and several other creatures. I saw this bridge too. Today I was going to Long Island to get a load of mats going to Jewett, Ohio.. It looked like this when I left here this morning- Cabbage plants I just planted Friday. Truck at the yard...still snowing. Rt. 460 about a mile from the yard- not looking too good! Turned onto rt.24 at Concord- looking worse. Long Island is down some very narrow backroads, so I just decided to turn off of Long Island Rd. onto rt. 699, where I saw this girl from Winfall sitting in the snow, drove over to the store on 699, parked in back, went inside and bought 12 beers, then walked the two miles home. Looked like this where the pickup was parked earlier. Cleaned the snow off the satellite antennae. Had this much snow when I got home two hours ago, and it's still snowing...stupid snow.
  2. Hi there Mike!
  3. Al Gore must be just a complete idiot- wonder what caused all the earthquakes there before fracking was ever heard of? Wonder if global warming is causing this almost 4 inches of snow here, and it's still coming down, and it's almost April...
  4. Sorry Eastcoastdiesel.
  5. I agree with you Rowdy .
  6. Delicious! I just shot up in there amongst them, kilt 18 of 'em wit one shot.
  7. Thanks Bob!.. I went to Altavista today, saw about 5,000 wild turkeys in the field. Only got about 25 of them in the picture though. Here's me today- yes, it was today really- 30 years later than 30 years ago, cooking some wings and vegetables on the grill. I'm wearing my 3D extended hood B model T shirt. And this is Other Dog today, walking along the cabbage plants I planted yesterday.
  8. ...couldn't say for sure, but you might be. I know a great nuts expert in sunny south Florider if you think you might need therapy.
  9. The first wife, or the Saturn?..What'd you get for her?
  10. Nice looking units. I like the looks of an H model, almost bought one once, but I've never driven one. Jeff Moore said his dad F.L.Moore and his grandfather H.H.Moore had some and hated them, said they were some of the worst trucks they ever had. I've never really heard anybody else have anything bad to say about them though.
  11. Anybody know anything about them? I don't know a thing, but I purchased a 2001 Saturn yesterday because Jo needed a car. I don't even know the model, but it looks like this- It doesn't really have crash bandicoot over the door, I added that- but it was NoClueJoe's idea. Anyway, it has 107,000 miles on it...it's white, automatic, 4 doors,..white,...that's about all I know. Rode and drove good though.
  12. It'll be just north of the I-85 split on 95 then- South Park Blvd. Just make a left at the end of the ramp, go back over 95, bear around to the right, it'll be a little ways up on the left. Big gray building, there's an Oliver or John Deere at the south end of the building and a Farmall M up at the other end.
  13. Yeah! I'll show 'em- the next time I see one broke down or needing a ride i'm not even gonna stop.
  14. That's a trip well worth taking, i've been twice and want to go again soon. They've got tons of stuff to look at, cars, trucks, tractors, antiques, models, books, gift shop, and more. It was very inexpensive I thought- I think it was $8 for an adult, but i'm not sure, and it might have gone up some by now. And they don't mind if you take pictures.
  15. evidently. I didn't even know you could eat them at the time, I thought they were just to play with.
  16. This is me right around thirty years ago.
  17. You know you want to ride in that big red truck...dickhead.
  18. Looks like he's poking fun at those wannabes with stacks sticking up through the bed- I like it!
  19. There's no shame in crying. It means you're human. I've had Other Dog about 12 years now, and we guessed him to be a year old when he first appeared. Longest i've ever had a dog, and the best dog i've ever had. If anything happened to him i'm sure i'd cry. But I agree with the "don't give up". Many years ago- ok, many, many years ago- when I was a kid we had an old family dog we called "Mutt". My Ma said Mutt got hit in the road by the big green H&C coffee truck that used to pass by our house. Mutt was young at the time, and they put him in the old A-frame doghouse they had. She thought Mutt was going to die for sure. He wouldn't eat or drink a thing and wouldn't move. Her father in law, my grandfather, told her to go to the store and get a can of canned fish. He said if Mutt ate the fish he would be fine...if not, there was nothing she could do. So she did, Mutt ate the fish, and he did recover. In fact, he lived over 20 years. He was the oldest dog I ever knew. I don't think eating the fish had anything to do with Mutt getting better, my grandfather just knew that if he would eat the fish he was gonna be OK. This doesn't really have anything to do with your situation because your dog wasn't hit by an H&C Coffee truck, but it's a true story, you can ask my Ma. Dogs are pretty tough.
  20. Wow, that's just unreal- or real, depending on how you look at it. I especially like the dozer, and the dirt on the dump buckets- never seen models look more real.
  21. Heckuva deal on the tires! I like that IH dump too. And the gripping descriptions-awesome!..could not have been done any better.
  22. I don't understand it, I saw more Winfall womens this week than I have for a long time, and see how they were all waving at me- apparently they just love a big red truck.
  23. Once again, I didn't see much this week. Saw this girl a few miles north of Winfall when I was on the way to Long Island to load crane mats. I think she wanted a ride, but I didn't have time to stop. She made it to Winfall though, I saw her again on my way back. She waved as I went by. It was snowy and icy all day Monday, stayed around 28-30 dgrees all day. When I got to Summersville, W.V. Monday night it was 38 degrees. I saw NoClueJoe66 in Pa. Monday night too, but I did not take a photograph of him. So, according to the rules I didn't really see him... Saw this girl at the Wal Mart in Gladys. She was waving at me to come over and help her with something in her car, but I just didn't have time. I know she made out OK though, I saw her later in Winfall. She even waved at me when I went by, and yelled something that rhymed with "mass-pole". I have no idea what that meant. Saw some cows in Charlotte, N.C. Things are getting green in sunny S.C. Looks like a Cargo Star IH, too bad my windshield was dirty. I took a load of steel to Duluth, Ga. and loaded these units in Athens. Going to a landfill in Narvon, Pa...wherever that is- couldn't find it on the map. I'll google it later. Chipping operation out here on rt. 699. Saw this girl out by Winfall Beach. She tried to stop me because she was having some difficulty with her clothes, but I kept going for her own good- it's still way too cold to go swimming. I guess the stupid girl went swimming anyway, she was waving at me as she was walking towards Lake Winfall when I came back by there.
  24. I probably won't be home on Wednesday, but I saw a wicked winch once.
  25. I was hoping it was at the Keystone Tractor Museum again, been wanting to go down there again anyway. Can't get to Jersey from here.
