  1. what?..this is all true,really happened,nuthin' made up!
  2. huh?
  3. But seriously, i'd say that stew pot was one of the best investments I ever made. It holds 30 quarts, not enough for most events or fund raisers where there's tons of peoples, but for family and friend get togethers it holds more than enough, we've never emptied the pot. Well, there was that one time when I made stew at the shop and it got emptied, but that was a lot of hungry truck drivers. I like to make it, not bragging but lots of folks have said it was the best stew they ever had. I use a 5lb. bag of potatoes, 3lb. bag of onions, this one had 13lbs. of whole sirloin tip in it, plus tomatoes, green beans, peas, corn, butter beans, worcestershire sauce, seasoning, and a stick of Land-O-Lakes real butter. Everybody left here full and carrying quart jars of stew with them.
  4. Oh, pictures of the week...I had a stew Sunday, here's a few pictures. I even wore my best shirt. Then after it's all over you have to empty the stew pot, boil it out again and clean it, re-season it, then you can plop it down on the back porch and take pictures of it.
  5. ...and one more.
  6. I got one more of it.
  7. Hmmmmmm...normally here- wait, normal?..here?..anyhow, usually here if there's no pics. it did not happen. But in this particular case Superdog verifies the story because he heard the horn blowing when he was in town changing that oil. So i'm thinkin' it really did happen just as you stated.

  9. Still finding pictures.
  10. Yessir, if I had her at home I wouldn't bother looking for Winfall.
  11. Thanks Ken, you got quite a few that I didn't even see, they must have left early. And I didn't get one of the Titan 90 without the cab up or the Fairlane with the hood closed. That Fairlane was pretty awesome, looked pretty much stock except for the giant bubble in the hood, and under the hood it was all motor.
  12. here's a few more.
  13. Both of those Bighorns had "John Kessler" on the door. I think they were out of West Va, but i'm not sure now. I could have read it but i've already resized and cropped everything down to screen size on the computer now.

  16. dammit...
  17. Which F model, this one? Nope, sorry, that's the only one.
  18. dammit...
  19. More truck show pictures from Jo's camera. She had her secret spy e.s.p. thingamabob turned on that can tell what everybody's saying. I usually keep mine turned off. Random photos...
  20. I agree, that one thing -the stupid looking visor- ruined the looks of a great classic truck. And I remember seeing the "Trick my Truck" episode where they did that Transtar. We were talking about it on the way home. I saw that truck for sale on e-bay or somewhere shortly after they finished it. The "bossman" on the show said he got tired of it when they started doing ice cream trucks, service trucks, etc, which is why I lost interest in it. But to do a truck like that for somebody and then they turn around and sell it right away must have caused them to rethink the whole thing too, I would think.
  21. Holy mackerel, i'm way behind! I'm on vacation this week too. Work Friday, truck show Saturday (http://www.flickr.com/photos/28526133@N04/), stew Sunday, clean stew pot and resize and crop pictures today, got an eye Dr. appointment Thursday, work to do on mixer one day, go see Ma and Dad one day. I'll probably get some rest when I go back to work. I think I took some pics. before the truck show, and I got a few yesterday when I had the stew. They'll be on later, they're still on the camera now. Did I post this before? This is a girl in a car, on her phone. Saw this R-model dump truck for sale near Milton, W.V.
  22. I have a photobucket acct. too, but I couldn't remember my user name or password. Use pretty much the same ones for everything, but I couldn't sign on so I went with flickr. I was going to see which one I liked better, but since I couldn't sign in to photobucket at all it became a non-issue. I didn't post every picture I took, about 250 total, but that's most of it. Some were redundant, but if anyone wants a picture disc of all of them, just shoot me an address and i'll be glad to send one. Soon as I burn them that is. And there was not a U model to be seen.
  23. Should be a lot more pictures here- http://www.flickr.com/photos/28526133@N04/
  24. It's in the Keystone Tractor Museum in Colonial Heights, Va. now. I posted pictures of it before, but it was packed in there too tight to get a good picture of it. I should have asked the driver to close the "fender hoods" for a picture but I didn't. He was real nice, I told him "I'd love to drive this back to Colonial Heights for you, and you can drive my pickup." He said "that doesn't sound like a bad idea", so I assumed it rides pretty rough. I'd have done it though, i'd love to drive that thing. Has a thirteen speed in it.
  25. A few more- here's MHFred's MH beside MH Farmer52. Great restoration here, before- and after... Nice! random photos... This Highbinder always had a crowd around it. I took the scenic route home and saw this one on rt. 151 between Wintergreen and Piney River, so I turned around and took some pictures.
