  1. too late, I already bought it. The guys at the shop are gonna put it in that red T660 tonight, that's why i'm home. They have to drive to Florida to get it first, but it should be ready to go by tomorrow afternoon.
  2. I've got some stuff i've accumulated. Old Bill sent me a lot of stuff, he was downsizing to move from Elliott Lake to Blind River at some point and when he asked me if I wanted it I said "Heck yeah, i'll take anything you don't want!" These pictures are the ones seen on his website. He sent this one for my birthday one year. A few Cat Scale cards. Some trophies I won at the Christmas parade- I ordered the little B models and glued them on myself. A couple of mixer pictures. ...and all my other models and miscellaneous stuff is packed in the corner cabinet!
  3. They have a good size fleet of Clines at the power plant on rt. 2 north of Parkersburg, W.V. Somebody there must know something, but I don't know who to ask. Don't know if the power plant owns them or they're contractors, they use them to haul something from the plant over across rt.2 to the backside of a hill, can't see any more from the road. Got big bodies on them, and they have a couple of big DMs there too.
  4. I saw one of those at a jobsite once, they used it to pull a scraper. Had one IH and several John Deere's working.
  5. Good looking unit too. Wouldn't let me save the picture. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-F-100-F700-1959-ford-f-700-f-100-13-872-original-documented-miles-frame-off-resto-no-reserve-/221274485615?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3384fcb36f&vxp=mtr#v4-47
  6. I had a picture of a big Mack manure spreader, but I must have deleted it. Long wheelbase R model with manure spreader body and tractor type tires on the rears.
  7. looks like this? I think all i've seen had three holes.
  8. No, I posted it on the Diamond T/Reo page on facebook and someone else was interested in it.
  9. Might as well post one of the Diamond Reo I was looking for to start with,eh?
  10. Didn't see any U models by the road, could be some there...they had a lot of old units there. Here's one of the pics. I posted here when I stopped there. Had one of a green mixer too, but I must have deleted it.
  11. by accident- I was looking for a Diamond Reo I once saw in S.C. on google earth. Saw it in 2009, but I remembered the general area, and saw this Superliner sitting there when I was looking.
  12. Great randyp, soon as you make an appearance i'm out of likes- but it's good to hear from you!
  13. that's exactly right Glenn, I'm not a mechanic, but I learned this when I first started driving. A lot of drivers don't seem to understand this, I see lots of drivers in fairly new trucks get in a truck that's idling go to put it in gear and just sit there and grind before finally just jamming it in gear because they've worn the clutch brake out.
  14. probably e bay's your best bet. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.Xmack+shift+knobs&_nkw=mack+shift+knobs&_sacat=0&_from=R40
  15. I saw the Mack ad in the last Heavy Duty Trucking magazine for the Pinnacle with the 505 hp, 1860 torque engine and started to chub up a little.
  16. I've got the boss at least thinking about a Mack now anyway. They're very disappointed in the KWs we have, having problems getting the warranty to cover repairs when they break down, which is often. He said the one I drive was actually the best one they had, as far as breakdowns go. Only have two Prostars with Maxxforce engines, they've been in the shop as much as they've been on the road, mainly egr issues. He said the Cascadias with DD15 engines were doing best. I asked him about a Mack the last time I was broke down, and he said one of the salesmen at Virginia Truck Center in Roanoke was a good friend of his and they'd played golf together. The salesman told him that the Macks with M drives came back to the shop with problems less than any truck they sold. So he said he might give one a try. I said that's fine, but I don't know about that M-drive part. He said "you're pretty old, you might need an automatic". The Va. Truck Center sells Freightliners and Macks.
  17. Gee, they looked like a lot in the bag- I could eat these for a snack. Just put some sauce on them here but they've got to cook longer. I can't eat wings unless the skin is crispyfied...is that a real word? Anyway, here's the finished product. I think I could eat that. Yeah, i'd eat that!
  18. OK, i'll go start the charcoal now. Got a 4lb. bag of frozen chicken wings yesterday, think i'll just cook them all so i'll have leftovers for tomorrow.
  19. Stout looking tractor. I would never have recognized the one in Pa. as being one of those, I thought it was the front end of an IH. Never paid much attention to it at first, I was shooting for the MH.
  20. Good thing it wasn't a cop, eh?..no, wait- I wasn't speeding anyway. I was constipating on the tractor because Ken said it was a rare aminal and there's a small window of opportunity there to get a picture because of the trees and buildings.
