  1. I think I saw Mike in Ohio, he's the only one I know who drives a plane. I saw a blue Fleetstar dump truck too. And A red Mack truck. This is a really sharp looking DM tractor with a long snout, red and black. Has a for sale sign on it too. It's in a bad spot to get a good picture of it going south, almost missed it altogether. But you can see it has a nice looking left headlight and fender. Got a "would have been" great picture of the Superliner in full sunlight. Unfortunately I had accidently zoomed the camera all the way in, so it sucks. Sharp looking Peterbilt in Fairplain, W.V.
  2. yes, that's their avatar picture isn't it? no wonder it looked familiar...now i'm embarassed that I didn't remember.
  3. yep, I liked the looks of the Navistar but it reminded me of something my Daddy said when I was around 8 or 10 years old. I saw a Corvette and said something like "man, that's a neat looking car, wish we had one of them". And he said "they're for people that have more money than sense". No offense to you 'vette owners.
  4. Saw this one on facebook, a '79 model that was a Newpenn Motor Express unit.
  5. that's the place all right, i'm going back to Warren for Monday delivery. Sharp looking trucks they were running.
  6. I did see a U or DM there, it was inside a fence and I posted a bad picture of it.
  7. I've seen kids in diesel pickup trucks mash the gas and just pour the black smoke, just to be showing off. Seen it lots of times too, yet a big truck's exhaust has to be cleaner than the air it takes in? I wish I could roll coal like this KW I saw in Ohio last week.
  8. Yes, I still see banana flips around. I know they have them at the Go-Mart in Fairplain, W.V, and I think at the Newcomerstown truck stop in Ohio. She might be a bimbo, but she makes a pretty good cake. These are what I still see, from Nickle's Bakery.
  9. possibly, HK said Phil was in the witness protection program because he screwed up the forecast on groundhog's day.
  10. Thanks Bob, enjoy your trip. I saw some poorly photo shopped MH's on my screen too.
  11. I was thinking that in the picture someone else posted that there was a Diamond Reo, or Marmon, or something there. I didn't see one, but there could have been, there was lots of trucks back there. I just took a drive-by picture. I was mainly shooting for the Freightliner because it was right by the road.
  12. me neither. I've heard several drivers say they never would, then they do, and they liked them.
  13. Most of the tractors at the Keystone Tractor Museum were brought in on Abilene's trucks, all vans.
  14. wish I had one of those, it would keep Jo entertained for hours...or I ran out of quarters.
  15. I'd like to be, but seldom get to that part of the world. That's a place that's well worth stopping at at any time, I stopped there once while on the way to North Dakota some years ago.
  16. OK, thanks Larry, it's not like i'd use it for photochop purposes or anything...
  17. I don't know, but I have heard, or seen on facebook, that he got more votes in Ohio than the actual population of Ohio. I wouldn't doubt it.
  18. Larry, could you post a picture of yourself facing to the front, for no particular reason...
  19. I'm an old fat ass myself, never ate Twinkies much, but I do have a fondness for them Suzie Q's. And an occasional Banana Flip.
  20. Hey Mike, Ken just called me and he says you suck- just kidding, he never called, sometimes I can't help it- it's apparent that Ken doesn't like D&D Towing, and if he doesn't like them, neither do I. Wow, that's cool though, probably the same MH as in the book "Driven For A Century".
  21. there's some big yellow thing on her head Mike, not sure what it is, but the sunglasses are a little below the big yellow thing, whatever it is.
  22. good for you!..and she certainly has some big- uh, sunglasses!..yeah, really big sunglasses on.
  23. and now, the rrrrrrrrest of the story- I made another trip Thursday, to Erie, Pa. Already been to New Castle and back, then to Warren and back. Totaled up 69 1/2 hours when I got to the yard. Good thing it only took 15 minutes to get unloaded, and 15 minutes to load, eh? I saw a rabbit and 2 groundhogs in Erie. An Oshkosh in Chardon, Ohio. I've posted this before, but this is one of the best pictures i've gotten of one of the nicest looking Superliners i've seen. Saw a ship in this ocean. and a girl getting gasoline... A double rainbow over the girl getting gas. Brightest rainbow i've ever seen. random interweb babe in fishnets just because almost everyone likes hot babes in fishnets.looks chilly too.
