  1. and now, the rrrrrrrrest of the story- I made another trip Thursday, to Erie, Pa. Already been to New Castle and back, then to Warren and back. Totaled up 69 1/2 hours when I got to the yard. Good thing it only took 15 minutes to get unloaded, and 15 minutes to load, eh? I saw a rabbit and 2 groundhogs in Erie. An Oshkosh in Chardon, Ohio. I've posted this before, but this is one of the best pictures i've gotten of one of the nicest looking Superliners i've seen. Saw a ship in this ocean. and a girl getting gasoline... A double rainbow over the girl getting gas. Brightest rainbow i've ever seen. random interweb babe in fishnets just because almost everyone likes hot babes in fishnets.looks chilly too.
  2. That's why I like street view, good way to find the best (easiest) way to get into a place.
  3. The story so far... this must be one of them lowriders,eh? A bad picture of a big old rusty green scraper machine, screaming Detroit on both ends. Red Macks. A white Mack. Nice looking Freightliner, and other old units out back. This is on rt. 6, little ways west of Warren, Pa. Somebody posted a picture of this place on here a few years ago. I unloaded at Carter lumber in Warren yesterday morning.
  4. actually, there is a fence in Winfall. These workers are tearing down the old wooden fence and putting up a new one.
  5. Those are my favorites, with the big "H" made into the hood. Here's one with the Peterbilt cab, and the old original with the overhead dash. I've read stories and articles over the years that would indicate that there's a lot of resentment from Hayes truck fans towards Paccar, feeling that Paccar bought Hayes just so they could shut it down and eliminate the competition.
  6. What pisses me off is when a lot of these jackasses pass you and they've got their right turn signal on before they're halfway around you, and they don't even wait for a flash anyway to cut in front of you. And people that flash their high beams at night too, while i'm at it. I always cut the lights off for a second, always did. Then even when you do that, most drivers don't even bother to blink their marker lights or say thanks any more.
  7. I saw an excavator today in Sharon, Pa. and took a picture of it.
  8. not to me, there's neither anywhere around here.
  9. guess she'll have to move her pole to the front. that's really where it should be anyway, with a row of booths up each side, tractor in the middle.
  10. here's a wimmin for you. hope I didn't post this one before. Hate to do reruns when there are so many wimmins out there, but I hate to delete them.
  11. here's a neat goat picture, off the interweb. I've been deleting pictures off the computer again, probably between 4 and 5 hundred.
  12. I don't know much about van trailers, Mark knows everything. The van loads I was taking to Louisville, they crammed the trailer full and I just shut the doors and took off. That was on pallets though.
  13. thanks, I thought it was bigger than a 992, that's the biggest i've seen. this one was sitting back off the road a long ways, couldn't see any numbers. And you are correct, Edgar Browning just said it was a 994 too, on facebook.
  14. I saw a bulldozer once. Then later I saw another bulldozer.
  15. All I saw in Winfall was this girl eating pizza.
  16. Once again I took pictures of things I saw, including this Monster Masher truck in Greenville,Pa. The dumpster getting place in Greenville, Northeast Mfg. What looks to be the biggest loader i've ever seen- looks bigger than a 992, eh? Sleepwalker can probably identify it. A B model Mack. Nice looking old Ford with a knuckle boom loader. Couple of Diamond Ts in Berkley Springs, W.V. A cement mixer truck. ,a couple of red Farmalls a blue dump truck A white pickup Leversole hauling a backhoe Vineyard in Erie,Pa. with lake Erie in the background.
  17. holy hamburgers, you even got the cereal number!
  18. He sent me an e-mail too, and I didn't even see it until today. He sent it to my hotmail account, which I don't use that much anymore. Just read one from Old Bill last week that he sent a month ago. I thought you were joking about Rob's phone being in the well! He said he planned on going to Lititz and bringing the R model.
  19. Rt. 22 is all uphill going east too, the way I usually run it. No real long hills, but they're straight up and straight down
