I've heard that moose are migrating farther from their usual habitat all the time, and have been spotted as far west as Illinois. I understand they can be quite dangerous, especially when alcohol is involved.

I think you're too late. Jim took a couple days off work and was last seen heading north east with newly purchased camouflage clothing, night vision goggles, black face paint, a metal detector, shovel, a new battery, and a can of gas. He plans to dig it up, put a battery in it, pour some gas in the carburetor, and drive it home. Here's a picture taken from the surveillance camera at the beer joint metal detector store of Jim and his possible accomplice. Be on the look out for these two Tim!

Indeed, what they said!

That's them. Couldn't find any pictures, but I know i've seen a Fulton truck picture on Hank's. Did see this mention on Swift's wikipedia page- Swift bought Stephens City, Virginia based Arthur H. Fulton Inc. for $9 million dollars. Fulton was in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection at the time.

I used to do some mud bogging in the 90's. Mud raced an IH Scout for several years, and they had 4 races a season. We took the kids with us, and I don't think I ever went there that at least one fight didn't break out. I think a lot of people went there just to get drunk and fight.

I rode over to the Winfall Sports Arena today just to see if anything was going on. There wasn't, so I came back home.

I always thought the same. We hauled a lot of structural steel there in the 80's and 90's, some went right downtown. I know one big job was at 6th. and Grant, lots of congestion around there...but some fine looking womens too. Now I load at Lane Steel in McKees Rocks and Galv-Tech in Pittsburgh pretty often. Galv Tech is one of those places that there's just no good way to get there.

I left the fix-it utilities scan running last night, restarted it this morning, ran the registry cleaner-fixer, optimized all programs and features, optimized windows and whatever else I could find to optimize and it seems fine so far, fast as ever too. Hope it's not fixing to blow up, like a truck engine- they always run their best right before they blow you know. -
Reminds me of Fulton- they were a pretty good size trucking co. out of Stephens City, near Winchester. I don't know what their main haul was, but they were a van fleet. The story goes that Schneider cut their rates on whatever their main haul was out of Winchester to try to take over the haul. So Fulton cut it even lower to try to keep the haul, then Schneider cut it even more. Then Schneider told Fulton they could cut the rate again, but then so would they and "we're going to outlast you". So Schneider got the haul, Fulton was pretty much out of business, and was later bought out by Swift.

I have the Avast Pro antivirus system that I just updated this morning, AOL computer check up, and I bought a Fix It Utilities Professional "fix, maintain, and speed up your computer" disc a few weeks ago.Everything checked fine, ran a scan this morning then just all of a sudden everything ground to a halt. It's working again now, but a little slower than normal. -

thank you Arnold. -
Danged stupid computer worked fine this morning, now it won't do $#!+ (that's comic book cussing...not bad,eh?). Can't get online, my fix-it disc, and everything else says "not responding", and the little wheel keeps spinning. Been trying to fix it, restarted it several times, wasted several hours, nothing...summanabish worked fine this morning. What's wrong with it? Is it fixable?..or should I throw it out in the driveway? I've got over 4,000 pictures saved on my computer! I have a laptop too, I finally just plugged it in to see what was going on here. yes, right you are,and that's it! And Mark, you are so right in what you said. Before deregulation i've hauled fertilizer into West Virginia, tarped it, and had a fake bill of lading saying it was kyanite because we had authority to haul "any ground ore" in W.V, but not fertilizer. Now anybody can haul anything anywhere on any route, so operating authority that companies once paid thousands of dollars for through buy outs, mergers, or cash became worthless overnight. And whatever haul we get now with a decent freight rate, whether the treated lumber, crane mats, or steel, it's only a matter of time before some larger carrier- TMC, Nick Srimbu, P,I&I, etc,-they're all the same-cuts the rates. Never fails.

But how far is it to Winfall? Saw that cabover KW again, going through New London Monday. Seen the big orange Mack again. Had to wait for this fellow to load his truck with his mat loader machine before I could pull up to the mat unloading machine to get unloaded in Clinton, Pa. Tuesday morning. I saw smoke in the distance... probably from the power plant in Midland, Pa. Waiting for the truck ahead to get loaded with the dumpster loading machines. The dumpster loading machines pick the dumpsters and roll-off bodies up and the trailer backs under them. I loaded the same way. They load dumpsters with one forklift, but the roll-offs are too heavy for one machine to lift. I loaded 4 roll-offs, one is turned upside down in the other. I had chains on each end of each set too, but i'd already took them off here in Rocky Mount, N.C. Some big Mack trucks at the roll-off body unloading place. Saw this machine there too. It was snowing when I left Rocky Mount. I was heading to Concord when they told me to go to Petersburg and pick up some angle iron and bring it to Lynchburg, only about 12,000 lbs. I didn't know it was 60' long until I got to Petersburg. It was snowing pretty hard around Blackstone when I was coming back up 460. Now this is something you don't see much anymore- a Volkswagon bus! Headed back out to Scio, Ohio with another load of crane mats Thursday. Here's snow on the mountain, the Peaks of Otter. Here's snow on the trees in West Virginia. Seen a red squirrel on the fence in Leetsdale, Pa. Coal bucket in W.V. KW looks odd beside a Freightliner- or the Freightliner looks odd beside the KW. Saw a girl on a couch in Winfall last night. Then I saw a girl in distress in Gladys. I didn't stop because I think the other girl was giving her mouth to mouth rescesistuatiation.
