  1. I saw it again the other day, heading south on 79 just north of 80 a little ways. Didn't get a picture. I also saw another dead porcupine on the shoulder, so the next time I see a dead porcupine i'm gonna grab the camera...
  2. I'm with Mike, Ron, and 2 stack. It might be a little slow to get going, but once you do, then it's on! And like they said, the terrain is a big factor. If you're mainly on flat ground you'll probably love it. I once took a 50,000+ lb. load from Va. to Washington, Pa. with a reload of steel coils in Butler, Pa. going back to Va.in a 237 powered F model. Yeah, it was slow- 2nd. gear on a lot of the hills, but it got the job done.
  3. Glad you can be here!
  4. me too, bud light doesn't bother me but regular budweiser always did give me a head ache.
  5. I always take 301 over 95 when I have to go to that part of the world. Glad you made out OK.
  6. gator bites are what the guy at Lowes gave me when I was working on a leak in the pipe going to the hot water tank. I thought no way this thing's going to work, but it never leaked a drop.
  7. I don't know why they'd slip if they're that tight and the wedge clamps aren't bottomed out, but i'd try new clamps and wheel spacers first. Usually the spacer is worn out when the clamps bottom out, but since they're not bottomed out, it's a mystery! I've seen lots of wheels that had a little piece of flat bar welded on each side of the valve stem hole for bigger-better safety stops too.
  8. I don't know a thing about trains, but I saw this on facebook. Neat picture anyway.
  9. This is good- http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2013/07/20/bill_whittle_the_truth_about_trayvon_martin_and_george_zimmerman.html

  14. calm down there Vinny, that might be going a little too far!

  16. DM's I think...that's a block co, it's probably those self unloading things, forks on a crane type thing, forgot what you call them...oh, yeah, a self unloading thing-a-mabob.
  17. you're welcome Ed! I have since modified the pig picture slightly though.
  18. I'm out of likes...but yes indeed, that's a good point there Joe.
  19. World famous loader expert mackniac said it might be a Zettelmeyer- I now believe he's right, after doing a google image search. I'd never heard of either one until today. BMT people know everything!
  20. Edgar Browning, construction equipment expert, said it might be a Hanomag loader. I'd never even heard of Hanomag, but I did an image search and he may be right.
  21. I considered that possibility, but figured if it was he would have stopped to help- or, he might have said "I'll be right back Ella Sue, i'm a goin' home and git you some pants!"
  22. Happy birthday there Jay!

All right! it's all downhill from here to Iowa! ?? loader in Warren, Pa. The back row units. Windmill blade still at the rest area in Pa. Saw a big dozer in Hubbard. Looks like a 594H. And a big hoe in Pa. Some equipment for sale in Flatwoods, W.V. Spotted a couple of Superliners. I even saw a dinosaur in Crewe, Va. Load of beams I loaded yesterday in Petersburg. Delivers Monday in Ambridge, Pa. Getting some tires, brakes, and 2 airbags on the trailer today. Got behind this oversize load on the way home.
