  1. He doesn't drive a Peterbilt any more, he drives a red anteater.
  2. I passed by a broke down car in the middle of nowhere once, then a few miles later I saw this girl walking along the road. She turned and smiled when she saw me, but when I looked in the mirror after I passed by she was flipping me off. She might have wanted a ride or something, I don't know.
  3. Great pictures Jay, you win the fictional "kodiakatrony of the week" trophy this week. Hope you don't mind if I turn them over. Had to go back and turn them again...you said you went to Co. and Utah, not Australia right?
  4. He was headed to Amarillo- had to be there by morning.
  5. Remember the "Texas shooter"? He killed 14 people I think it was, and wounded 30-some more at the University of Texas in the 60's. He was shooting from a tower on the campus. His weapon- a 700 Remington bolt action.
  6. I don't know if you can put kerosine in them or not Ed, never heard anybody say. It's probably illegal even if it doesn't hurt anything. H.H. Moore used to have fuel delivered with kerosine already in it in the winter, didn't have to worry about it gelling with kerosine. I asked Todd Thursday if anybody had any trouble with fuel gelling and he said no, but the DEF froze on a couple of trucks. Mine might have froze, I had to buy some on the road for the first time- $13.99 for a 2 1/2 gallon jug, and the man that delivers the bulk DEF to the yard says it's 98 % water. Maybe the super hot exhaust helps keep the fuel from freezing, because it used to be when it got down to single digit temperatures you'd best have some kind of conditioner in the fuel or you were in trouble. Doesn't seem to be the case any more.
  7. I've seen those characters all over the place! I thought it stood for The Mickow Corporation and their mission was to keep freight rates cheap. So that's what they're up to,eh?
  8. that's all I ever did Bob, and they worked fine. Got one in the mixer now that works fine, I never did any of that other stuff.
  9. I talk backwoods redneck hillbilly, is that the same thing?
  10. I've hooked up many cb's in positive ground F models and my B model, you just have to hook them up "backwards"- you have to ground the hot (fused) wire on the radio, run the other to the switch or what ever power source you're tapping into.
  11. Seems like you'd probably remember her if it was for real, she does look very nice. You're a good sport Vinny, a fine upstanding young man.
  12. Kinda' small this week, as I only made one round. Pretty good one though, went to Reno, Pa. with a load of lumber- that's between Franklin and Oil City- loaded in Newton Falls, Ohio for Fayetteville, N.C, then loaded sand in Hoffman, N.C. going to Griffin Pipe in Lynchburg, Va. Going up the hill out of Charmco, W.V. on rt. 20. Almost to the top. I wish "Axe Men" had a West Virginia crew- they do some serious logging there, as you can see on that mountainside ahead. Bridge construction on rt. 39 between Nettie and Summersville. KW for sale in Summersville. This is the Powell Mountain goat. Unlike the goats on the hill in Moorefield, this is apparently a lone goat that hangs out on Powell Mountain. It's usually up on the rocks, but it was down by the roadside Tuesday...or was it Monday? Anyhow, it was very blurry because it was almost dark, but it is indeed the goat that lives there. This is about as blurry as the goat, but it was a chilly 5 degrees in Reno, Pa. It was snowing too. Some tugboats and barges on the Ohio river. Ice on the rocks. It was blurry inside the Big Walker Mountain tunnel on I-77 too. Coming down the hill on old rt. 29 from Madison Heights into Lynchburg- I'm going up yonder, make a left, then another left, and come down the street just to the left of the speed limit sign to go to Griffin Pipe. This is where i'm going down that street to Griffin Pipe that was to the left of the speed limit sign in the previous picture, looking at the hill I was coming down on old rt. 29 from Madison Heights into Lynchburg to go to Griffin- never mind. When I got back to the yard I found that the bottle of hot sauce that I left in the pickup to give to the nice lady at the post office for giving me the boxes had frozen and blew the top off. I put a piece of plastic on it and screwed what was left of the lid on it. The glass wasn't broken, so I brought it home to use for myself. I have to go through Winfall to get from Concord to Gladys- saw this in Winfall.
  13. I heard one good thing lately though, on Mike Huckabees website- he said NRA membership had increased by 250,000 members in the last month.
  14. "By the way June, I wish you would shave your beaver for me..." "well,..ok Ward, if that's what you want- I'll do it tomorrow." "Wow- that's all i'll be thinking about at work all day tomorrow!" "Gee Ward, I never knew it was that big of a deal". "That's swell June, I can hardly wait". next day, down at the feed store... "yes, i'd like some heavy duty shears, a straight razor, and 2 dozen Gillette safety razors please." "golly gee ma'am, you must be gonna do some serious shearing there- you got some sheep or sumptin'?" "Oh no, my husband wants me to shave my beaver for some reason- I don't get it either". Feed store salesman looks shocked. "Wow lady, you must have some bush!" "no, not at all, i'd get pruning shears for my bush, i'm just shaving my beaver". Feed store salesman faints.
  15. no Vlad, they were both on "emotifake.com" or something, I had nothing to do with either of them, just the one with Vinny. I don't know if the girl and the truck picture is even altered at all, she might just be posing in front of the truck. The other one was so badly photoshopped it reminded me of me.
  16. I knew about the 1468, even seen one. Used to be one for sale at the John Deere place in Crewe, Va. Had a big wide hood on it. I just found this 1568 when I was looking for a 1468 picture, never knew they existed before. I saw one that was for sale, might be the one in the picture, I don't remember- but the asking price was $33,000.
  17. Different from pictures of the week, found these on the interweb machine. This is photoshopped like I would do- ...and commented on like Mark would do.
  18. that's the only thing i've understood in the last several posts.
  19. Why would you need a Colorado detector? I'm sure somebody would have mentioned it if it went missing, and all those yuppy skiers would be howling about it.
  20. I don't refrigerate it, and i've never had any go bad.
