  1. You're welcome, thank you for thanking me. I like Big Ben, hope you didn't get stuck in any traffic circles. No wonder he didn't think it was funny, you needed at least 2 more bungees on the other side too.
  2. Not so much the '65, but the 66 and 67 GTO's were some of my all time favorite cars, a fine looking automobile indeed.
  3. Nice scenery, I can see the pics. much better on this big screen that I could on the laptop. That chicken mac and cheese looks good too...is that bacon? Everybody loves bacon!
  4. ohhhhh...so that's why she's his ex and you moved to sunny south Florida
  5. good for you, that's what i'd have done too.
  6. Are you the famous Bradshaw? Welcome again! Old Bill sends me these magazines periodically.
  7. hmmmmm....that could be interesting- don't forget to turn that camera on.
  8. Is there a beach in Winfall? Here's some pictures from Winfall Beach. It's swim at your own risk. Most people go to the pool to swim because they have lifeguards. and a skate park right beside it.
  9. I couldn't make it out either.
  10. How about you run by Galv-Tech and pick me up, 'ill ride with you. You'll have to wait until i'm loaded, chained down, and tarped. Then take me back to Galv-Tech when i'm ready to go, ok?
  11. take that, tree huggers!
  12. That's great Vinny, I was driving tractors- farm tractors that is- in the field at a very young age myself, cutting hay, baling hay, combining wheat, picking corn- you get the idea- but I never got to drive a big truck until much later, and that's what I always wanted to do.
  13. Wonder what's up with the cabbage plant in the middle?..planted at the same time in the same dirt. Potatoes all look pretty good so far- A tomato, cayenne peppers, and garlic in the tires and wheels this year. The tires and wheels came off of a big Mack truck, I like to keep my posts truck related. Lots of peaches this year too, but I won't get any. They either rot and fall off the tree before they're ripe or the squirrels will get them before I do. Last week's paper said it was time for the 17 year locusts this year- I got holes like this all over the place. Gave away a set of encyclopedias yesterday. Saw this pretty neat picture in "Trucks and Trucking". I thumbed through all of them just in case i'd hidden a $20 bill between the pages...I hadn't. Other dog commandeered my chair, and he never does that! It's OK, i'll be in the 'puter chair.
  14. Exactly, just like Jim and Ron said! We've got a 55 gallon drum of 5th. wheel grease at the shop with a board in it to slather it on the 5th. wheel with. You don't need high dollar or special grease for the 5th. wheel, pretty much any old grease will do. I don't drop and hook much so I carry some tubes of grease with me and sometimes i'll drop the trailer, pull out, then pop the tops on the tube of grease and just tap the metal end on the 5th. wheel. Put little globs of grease all over until the tubes empty. Then when I back under the trailer i'll lower my air bags so the front of the trailer doesn't wipe the grease off. Then when the king pin is right at the back of the 5th. wheel i'll pump the bags back up and then hook-up. If you don't have air ride you can just raise and lower the trailer to do the same thing. You have to get out and look when you do this of course, to make sure you don't back in too far before you raise it back up, but it's about the best way to cover it good with grease and not make a big mess . They'll service a truck at the shop, grease the 5th. wheel, and if they hook it back up to your trailer for you when they finish more often than not all the grease they just put on the 5th. wheel will be all over the frame, catwalk, tires, driveshaft, bumper, hood, stacks, steering wheel...
  15. Lot of flatbedders use them too, to put over sharp edges under their tarps to keep from cutting the tarp.
  16. Thanks, i'm not used to doing a serious project, mostly foolishness. I couldn't duplicate the lettering exactly, and I couldn't find an image of the bulldog where "Mack" was in block letters.
  17. Well, here's what I came up with. Tried to copy it exactly... Doesn't look exactly original, hope it's helpful in some way.
  18. I would have thought at least a 50-something, but a good looking truck whatever year it is!
  19. Oh...sorry. I fixed it, even put a little flame coming out of the stacks.
  20. Well, I would have picked her up too, only because she didn't have any shoes. Even I wouldn't want to see her get sore feets from walking. Nice pictures Vlad, thank you. Beautiful country!
  21. Here's some Winfall wimmin'. I think I know what's going on here- the girls are going to Winfall Beach with their dogs. They were not paying attention to the traffic, and as the first dog started to cross the road it saw a truck coming, panicked, slammed on the brakes, and froze. Dog number 2 saw the situation and grabbed dog number 1 and tried to pull it back to safety, but he was rear-ended by the girls who were not paying attention and also following too close...I had plenty of time to stop, and no dogs or girls were harmed in this poorly photo chopped image.
  22. Saw Vinny's U model on the interweb machine.
  23. First thing that caught my eye- "a few oil leaks"! I used to stop and take a shower there and get a bite to eat sometimes when it was John Skidmore's Truckstop, never even been in it since they changed, I just go to the Go Mart.
