  1. "well blow me down!"...Popeye,1922.
  2. I went down to the White Bash at the Keystone Tractor Museum today. I was surprised at how few trucks were there, and how few people were there too. I would have expected a lot bigger turnout, but the trucks that were there looked great. Saw Randy's tractor again. Nice Autocar A green White A stainless steel Autocar. This truck, or one just like it, used to sit out front at Edgcomb Steel just north of Philadelphia, where we used to load steel pretty often. A 3000 White I think this was my favorite. I remember seeing this truck in an auction brochure. Autocar wrecker I liked this one too. and this was ...strange good looking dump truck some more- 55 Chevrolet Brockway that wasn't in the museum last time I was there.
  3. "that's my story, and i'm stickin' to it!"...Richard M. Nixon, 1874.
  4. dammit, i'm going to post a funny picture! It's a rerun from last year, and it's Mack truck related..
  5. that's amazing detail on everything Pawel, that 5th. wheel looks real, right down to the grease!
  6. He's hauling boats now, driving a Peterbilt. I met him on this 2 lane road in West Virginia and got a quick picture. I was hauling a 12 foot wide load of steel plates.
  7. I've called him every day for several weeks. He's never answered. I was about to give up, but then I said "nope- Rob may be shunning us, but i'm gonna call him every day until he eventually answers the damn telephone".
  8. are you going to the White Bash next weekend? I'm hoping to make it down there again.
  9. just order a new one for your head randyp, and leave this one where it's at. that's what I would do.
  10. I voted for you, pretty interesting site there too.
  11. great...now we never get to see your aquarium any more...
  12. I planted some hot sauce in these big Mack truck wheels, and these came up- cayenne peppers, hot bananner peppers, these are called garden salsa. never grew these before, but they're hot- I bit the end off of one last week. jalapenos hot cherry peppers- these will turn red I mix all these together with secret ingredients to make hot sauce. I even add some cactus if I send a shipment to Texas. Got this vine growing in one tire. It's got lots of blooms, but I don't know what it is yet. Might be a cantalope, but I hope it's a butternut squash.
  13. Don't let this happen to you! You can the stop secret spy camera from spying on you by ordering a tin foil hat today! It's endorsed by Hatcity himself- to order, call BR-549- ax for Ed.
  14. I was going east on rt. 22 once and took this picture of a train with a load of military vehicles going around the horse shoe curve.
  15. I stopped and looked around at the Neil Armstrong museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio about 30 years ago. RIP Neil Armstrong.
  16. In response to Ben's recent post about the big secret getting out, and Mark's reply to the Polish festival, we once again turn to the "secret spy camera". This is a secret spy camera photo of Mark's home aquarium. I knew his explanation of the New York "water dogs" was phony- this is the real deal, the secret spy camera doesn't lie, eh?
  17. you've come to the right place, this is the best site on the interweb machine. There's some very knowlegable Mack people here, (not including me of course) and everybody helps everybody. I'm just an idiot from the planet Krylsgrmmitrzon, here to observe randyp. ...and I pass thru Washington pretty regularly.
  18. I drive an mx, 455hp, 1650 ft. lbs. torque. I haven't had any major breakdowns myself, but another of our trucks with an mx just exploded the engine at around 100,000 miles. PACCAR put a new crate engine in it under warranty, and told the local KW dealership to send the blown one to them and to not touch anything on it, so they could try to figure out exactly why it failed. My biggest gripe with it is the lack of power, it's rated at 455hp. but it pulls like a 350 Cummins. In fact, I think i've driven several 350 Cummins that would pass the 455mx on a hill like it was tied to a stump.
