  1. yep, he needs one that can take pictures like this. I did not take these, they're from an e-mail from Andrew in Australia.
  2. bounty hunter- "I had to come back"Josie- "I know"
  3. so, just how much piss have you tasted in order to make that comparisan? " beer is good, same as womens" - The Outlaw Josie Wales
  4. no, that's a hobby of mine. I buy perfectly good beer and convert it into pee- helps pass the time on a hot day.
  5. Temperature indication gauge ( thermometer ) on the back porch. closer view of temperature gauge even too hot for Other Dog to go outside... shish kabobs assembled and ready to go on the grill after grilling I showed the good, might as well show the bad- tomatoes burned up on the vines onions did fairly well though
  6. what?..no they're not! I -...geez, that's...ummmmm...never mind.., i'm with olive...head in hands...
  7. yep, to take it further, they cut the corn with with a "forage harvester"- we call it a "silage cutter" around here. Usually done in September around here. It cuts/chops the whole stalk of corn into silage, then put into silos or a silage pit to feed cattle during the winter. To be cutting corn for silage this time of year is bad...real bad. Not so much cutting it for silage now is bad, but to have to be feeding it now is.
  8. OK- this is why I want to come down there and get a hotdog at the beach-
  9. Thanks Bob, i'm gonna make some shish kabobs today, soon's it warms up some. The blue truck might be, i'm sure randyp would know for sure.
  10. 97 here now, supposed to get to 104, the weather network says with the humidity it'll feel like 117. Shouldn't have mentioned my good looking garden, it's just gone, burned up. Had a good onion crop, still got hot peppers.Maybe I should only plant peppers. update- the thermometer on the back porch says it's 104 now, and it's in the shade. That weather network is out of Canada and it's usually more accurate than the paper or tv,and it's a free download.
  11. yeah, if there's one thing that's obvious in the picture it's that these men are highly trained buffessionals.
  12. a bow saw was the cat's ass for cutting pulpwood, they wouldn't get pinched as easy as a straight bar, and you could set them prongs on the ground and cut with one hand while peeing with the other. I don't think you can get them anymore for safety reasons, they were bad for kickback.
  13. they're all wearing protective head gear 'cept that one in the middle- he must be the boss/truckdriver, just holding the saw for this publicity photo.
  14. it's been hot all right. Had to get in the truck and cool off a while while I was chaining down and tarping today in McKees Rocks. I was thinking about going to the tractor pull in Gladys tomorrow, but it's supposed to be even hotter so I probably won't go.
  15. I heard International and Mack were going to merge. They're gonna call the trucks "Corndogs". Don't know if it's true or not.
  16. "buzzard's gotta eat too- same as worms". The Outlaw Josie Wales
  17. Pretty pathetic compared to Heavygunner's- not many kodiakatronomical opportunities this week. All I saw was another smoking Mack- coulda been a U-model...but it was prolly a DM. A home in West Virginia destroyed by a tree. This was not from last Friday's storm, I first saw this a couple of weeks ago. The switch trucks at the Westvaco woodyard in Rupert. The Autocar looks like the same one they had at the Buckingham yard that I used to haul from, except it was red then. empty Burns' log trailers Some pulpwood cutters
  18. ...and I hope their binness increases 10 fold.
