Last of the peppers- red,green,big and small,I picked them all. Not much of a haul today, but here's the total crop. That's one 2 gallon bag, 2 gallon bags full, and one gallon bag half full. UPS even delivered my new bottles.

Found a new picture- ...meanwhile, back in the garden, i'm gonna pick all the peppers today or tomorrow- calling for frost next week. Then i'll commence to making hot sauce. I even ordered new bottles- first time I won't have to scavenge used bottles out of the dumpster!..(just kidding Mike-i've never used dumpster bottles). Had a pretty good crop this year off of one plant each of halapeno, cayenne, hot bananas, hot cherry, and garden salsas- whatever they are. Got 3 gallon size freezer bags stuffed full in the freezer now. Have to find the mailing list and update it. Olivetroad wanted hot sauce and pictures of the hot sauce making process but he's been m.i.a. for some time now.

yeah, i've always preferred that route over 95. Things have changed so much up around Middletown, De. I hardly recognized the place. I remember when there was hardly anything there but Moneys truckstop, the ice cream stand, the vegetable market- now it looks like a booming metropolis! I didn't even see the place where I used to stop and buy 50 lb. bags of potatoes to bring home.

This is true. I should have gone to Chester W.V. today with a load of Kyanite but I went to the eye doctor. My vision got blurry in my right eye last week, left eye is fine. The Dr. dilated my pupils to look inside the eye, but she didn't see anything out of the ordinary. So when I left there I couldn't see well out of either eye, had to call Jo to come pick me up. I might just need stronger glasses, but after she dilated them she couldn't test the eye glasses prescription, so I have to go back next Friday. I really got nothing accomplished today.

This one is set up as a "barn dump"- that's when a barn is installed on the chassis instead of a regular dump body. When it's time to empty all the corn you just open the barn doors and raise it up. Works better when the doors are on the end instead of on the sides as shown here.

...From the great New Jersey adventure. After I unloaded Monday morning I had to go to Baltimore to load, and unload Monday night in Lynchburg, so I didn't have time to stick around. Sunday evening traffic on I-66. These people ought to be at home on Sunday, watching football or the nascar race! D.C. from the Woodrow Wilson bridge. Some ships in the bay. From the Annapolis Bay Bridge- $24 to cross. Oshkosh snow blower at Lakehurst. A blimp, big hangars,and planes at Lakehurst. They already had a pretty good size stockpile of the landing mats that I delivered there. From the Delaware Memorial bridge- $25 to cross. From the Key Bridge in Baltimore- $16 or $18 to cross. Nothing a little diesel fuel won't take care of... I even saw another girl in another car when I was going to Warren, Ohio. And this large unit behind a tractor on rt. 220. I don't know what it was. ...and I even saw a big Mack truck in Hubbard, Ohio this morning.

this is the first time I've ever voted early. I got a form in the mail a few weeks ago from the republican party so I filled it out and mailed it in, and my ballot came last week.

I'm a reading buff myself, and as I was browsing Amazon for used books I happened upon this one. Even showed a couple of sample pages.
