  1. I saw the American Trucker guy, he came in in the wrecker towing the Evel Knievel truck. Then he was up on the hill at the wrecker demonstration, where the tipped over container was. I never saw him after, or met him, there was always a huge crowd where ever he was. I didn't know anybody from Trick My Truck was even there, would've liked to meet them too.
  2. Indeed, nuthin' like a smokin' hot redhead! I tried to get her in as many pictures as possible...not that I was stalking her or anything.
  3. Thanks Jay, great pictures! You can tell you were there early, by the time I got there it was hard to take a picture without a bunch of people in the way, but that's a good thing.
  4. Amen brother! (Bulldogman) You hit the nail on the head there! I wish I had a spotted owl though, i'd marinate it in some teryaki sauce and throw it on the grill.
  5. Yes, I always have my agent (Rob) ax the tough questions.
  6. I put a few pictures on flickr today, and looked at some old ones i'd almost forgotten that I had. Probably nothing new to see, but now I kinda' wish i'd put the Lincolnton pictures there, I think I like it better than webshots and there's 2 fewer steps to go through to upload a picture. I like the bigger thumbnails too, I cain't see as good as I used to. http://www.flickr.com/photos/28526133@N04/
  7. uhh...i'll take a stab at it- his carcass is buried in a shallow grave in the woods?
  8. Thanks, that's some good pictures right there.
  9. how about this?
  10. one of my favorites for breakfast!
  11. neat trailer! I've never seen such before!
  12. Yes there was, but I had to be real sneaky just to get the few pictures I did. Jo loaded the cast iron skillet in the truck before we left, but I managed to convince her that it was too heavy for her to carry around.
  13. Thank you, got all the pictures on webshots now. I think now I should have went with flickr, they've got bigger thumbnail pictures. I could have done them on flickr individually without signing all the rights away but all my other truck show pictures are on webshots already.
  14. Got a lot of the truck show pictures here- http://rides.webshots.com/album/580642862YTyWeG I haven't finished yet, more to come later. I could have put them straight from Kodak to Flickr but you have to give them permission to add, remove, and edit your photos to do it, so screw all that, I just put them on webshots.
  15. Thanks David, likewise! I enlarged the picture on the camera on the way home and saw the owner's name was Jay. I'd say those Macks have been sitting right there on 158 for close to 2 years. I first saw them when I was passing through in the truck, and they were still there when I went to Lincolnton last year, and they're still there now. They're sittin between Stokesdale and Walkertown, just past the Sheetz if you're going towards Winston Salem.
  16. Had a great time at the show today. This is the 3rd. year i've been to Lincolnton and despite the heat it was the most trucks and most people yet. I would have stayed a little longer but the heat was really getting to Jo, plus she has sciatica and her leg hurts when she has to walk a lot. When we came back through Winston-Salem the thermometer said 98 degrees. By the time we got to Altavista it was 101. Met one of our BMT members there, real nice fellow- goes by the name "David". I also met Johnny Click, a Fed-Ex driver who has pictures on Hank's Truck Pictures. http://www.hankstruc...ohnny_click.htm Here's just a few of over 200 pictures I took. As usual, i'll put most of the rest on webshots or photobucket, then i'll post a link to it but i'll save that project for tommorrow. I gotta make a couple of picture discs too, then i'll crop and resize them before I put them on webshots. Here's a nice one for Rob- Because I know you won't like these- Jo was standing in front of these trucks and she looked so hot and tired the owner gave her a bottle of water, so she told him i'd post his trucks on here. See, she's hugging that little bit of shade whenever she can- Saw a good looking U-model. Lots of B-models-I really liked this green one. F-model- There was even a "Japanese Freightliner" there- And those Macks on rt. 158 that I first saw well over a year ago are still sitting there- stopped and got a couple of pictures on the way home. And I only bought 1 item for myself- had to have this B-model T-shirt! And last but not least- the hot babe of the day-front...and rear! ...and the hot babe of the day first runner-up front- ...and rear-
  17. Y'all use way too many big words for me, i'm gonna start a new topic and only use little words and lots of pictures.
  18. Here's some pictures from last year's show- http://rides.webshots.com/album/578301593qEKAFT
  19. I really like the red one, but i'd hit them fenders with some black Krylon. I like rattle cans.
  20. I would do that, but I don't have a dog sitter and that regular cab Ford Ranger ain't big enough for me, Jo, and the dog. Probably be too small for the two of us before we get back, might have to put her in the back. Here's a picture of her at Lincolnton from last year.
  21. Made one trip this week, to Warren, Ohio. After taking 8 hours to get loaded in Lynchburg Monday, in near 100 dgree heat, I didn't get to Warren until lunchtime Tuesday. Then I couldn't get to Monongahela by 2 pm to pick up so I had to layover and load Wednesday morning. I wanted to get another trip in, but when I unloaded in Petersburg yesterday morning I came to the shop and called it a week so I can go to Lincolnton Saturday. Saw this heavy duty wrecker in Broadway, Va. Load I picked up in Monongahela

      Monday?!! Already?!!

      damn, vacations almost over!

  23. yes,we were talking about hotdogs.
  24. It's larger so you can cook enough hot dogs for everybody at the same time.
  25. yep, that 300/5 speed F-model I drove never let me down, and I hauled over 50,000 lbs. regularly. I could go all the way up Christiansburg mountain in 4th. gear with 25 tons of fertilizer in a van. It was slow starting off, but once I got going it was left lane!
