  1. Thanks, I spent the day driving from Indiana to Suffolk,Va.
  2. That must be what I saw, a commercial for that. They're trying to take over the world.
  3. You could get a 5 and 4 that will handle the power, but a quadruplex with probably disentegrate immediately if not sooner, as they were never meant to handle the power and torque you've got.
  4. I can believe that, saw pictures of torn up lawns when I did the image search. I never realized there was so many of them running roughshod, thought they were kinda rare, but apparently there's plenty of 'em. I found the 4 wheeler picture too, I didn't modify it myself-except for the Calvin sticker.
  5. After working on his 4 wheeler all morning, Randy and Spot are ready to go on the great pig hunt... The heavily modified 4 wheeler, now a 6-wheeler,is an awesome pig hunting machine! Spot quickly finds pigs and piles them up for Randy Looks like another pig roast in Daingerfield soon!
  6. I biggerized it to look closer. Don't know if there's an AC Mack, but one does appear to be Rob at an early job, long before he joined the Navy and went on to become a radar technicion.
  7. There's more here- http://www.facebook.com/pages/BigMackTruckscom/207976141027#!/album.php?id=121398107934571&aid=24358 Nice die cast models too.
  8. I see Hank's has a Euclid site now, but there's not many pictures.
  9. I found an old Farm Journal magazine about 20-25 years ago in an old house that was used to store hay and feed in. The magazine was dated either 1966 or '67. There was a sweepstakes in it sponsored by Ford Motor Co. and the grand prize was a new Ford tractor, a 3000 model I think but i'm not sure, a new Ford pickup, and a new Ford station wagon-not one, but all three! Or you could take $10,000 cash. Things have really gone up since then, now a good used truck, car,or tractor is that much for any one of the three. I gave the magazine to my brother, don't know if he's still got it.
  10. .
  11. I probably couldn't hit one with a 44 magnum unless it was tied up, i'll have to bring my 700 Remington 30-06.
  12. When I went in with the 2 mill rolls there was one truck at the scales. By the time I got unloaded and went to load beams for Hammond,In. there was about 10 trucks lined up. So once again I got my paper towels and 409 and went to wiping on this trailer. Got 'er looking pretty good,eh? Another year or two...
  13. Loaded some more mill rolls in Petersburg this week, made two rounds up to Milton,W.V. and back. Took a roll and a ring up both times, brought a roll back the first time, 2 rolls and 4 pallets of steel things the second time. That was a pretty heavy load, those rolls weigh about 22,000lbs. each. Didn't have a nice steel rack like this for the second one so I had to use 4x4's and coil racks to set it in, with a V-block under the end. They backed the little machine up a little too far, so after discussing the situation for a while, they pulled it out with the big machine. Dumping some dusty stuff into a Euclid.
  14. No joke- I saw it on TV yesterday. I even googled feral hogs and found that they carry all sorts of diseases, and 50% of them live in Texas. That's why Randyp in Texas should be breeding Spot as much as possible to produce more Spots to combat this menace, as Spot hates pigs.
  15. Not that it has anything to do with cracking, but I saw a blue MH for sale last week on the AA highway in Kentucky when I was coming back from Cincinnati.
  16. neat picture, hadn't seen it before.

    My Survey:

I thought they said train, and ran to catch it. When they said nose I thought they said rose, and ordered a big red one. When they said ears I thought they said beers, and ordered 2 large ones.
  18. and now...the rest of the story! ...the wife and grandson take a relaxing nap, not realizing the danger lurking about- But, as usual, Spot springs into action, seemingly out of nowhere- once again saving the day! A few peas, carrots, mushrooms, and a pinch of garlic later...
  19. ummmm...uh...well, my favorites episodes are when Spongebob gets lost in bikini bottom, and the one with the magic conch. Saw 2 new ones I hadn't seen before when I layed over in Alabama last Saturday.
  20. This shit is funnier than a screen door on a submarine!
  21. Seems Randy's got a new business going on the side. His trusty assistant handles this operation while Randy's digging, pushing, piling, and grading.
  22. Looks like you're finding lots of old truck treasures down there Mike!
  23. I've been all around since last Sunday. I went to Orchard Park and came back to Rural Hall, N.C. with 3 packs of particle board. Then I left Wednesday with a load of beams going to Fort Worth (that's somewhere in Texas) and picked up some light poles there going to a baseball stadium in Reading, Pa. I ran out of hours on the way back and spent Sunday laying over in Alabama so I didn't unload the light poles until Tuesday. Then I had to go to the Jefferson memorial in Washington D.C. to pick up some used piling and bring it back to Concord. Had to blindside into a narrow construction entrance off a narrow street, then around the ess curve, through the obstacle course, and up to the crane. Had to back up to the smaller one with the yellow boom after they moved the big one over just a tad. Thought i'd be done when I got to the shop, but noooooo, had to go to Lynchburg and get a load going to Greenville,S.C. The load was already loaded and tarped, sitting outside. Had 3 tarps on it. Only problem was it wasn't chained down, so I had to pull all 3 tarps off, chain the load down, then fold all 3 tarps back up and retarp it. It was 10 o'clock by the time I left Lynchburg. Unload in Greenville the next morning, then go about 5 miles to pick up a load going to Richmond-mostly expanded metal, with some cat walk and other stuff included. Had more sharp points than a porcupine. Tried to tarp it in a 64.3 mph. wind, but after the tarp had blown off for the third time I was so pissed off that I went in and told them "if i've got to tarp this you can unload it, because I can not tarp it in this wind". So then they said to back it back inside, which I did. The other tarp, which I had up on top and hadn't even started to unfold, blew off when I was backing in the door. So I got it tarped without further difficulty and headed to Richmond. Got there yesterday morning and about the time I got the tarps off on the ground and the chains and straps off it started pouring down rain. So they said "you're gonna have to back it inside-back in door no. 2". So I back into door no. 2 and go out into the rain and fold up 3 wet tarps in the parking lot, getting soaked in the process. By the time I was unloaded and left the sun was shining again. I saw this on I-40 in Nashville- These old trucks in Arkansas- Big horned cow in Texas-missed the camels and buffaloes, all I got a picture of were cows. Saw a load of bees in La. Driver brought them from Ca. and was going to Fl. Mini-fridge at the motel in Al. Sniffer dog at the Jefferson memorial. The pentagon. Road I backed in to load. Jefferson memorial. Washington monument across the water.I went up the street over there after I was loaded.Had to take a long way out because of several low underpasses. The crane Where I got loaded from the other side of that ocean- Why I hate northern Va. The load I picked up in Greenville. Got 2 sniffer dog pictures...don't pay any attention to this one, just ignore it.
  24. I had to pick up some used piling in Washington D.C. the other day at the Jefferson memorial and bring it back to the yard. Todd Moore told me to be careful because the last driver he sent in there to get a load of it came back with both stacks laying on the trailer. Thought he could get under a 12'6'' underpass. What size pipe is that?
