  1. i'm tired of turning my monitor on it's side. nice looking trailer too, I like all the tool boxes!
  2. that's a good ideer-my melon ended up falling off. I didn't plant that watermelon anyway,it came up volunteer-must have been seeds in the compost pile.unfortunately, there's no bras big enough around here to-owh!! better put some ice on this black eye...
  3. Today's pictures of the week part 2- Here's that black Superliner in Appomattox. Too bad it's a crappy blurry drive-by. Saw this neat looking old unit in Ohio, near Fremont. And I saw a 3 legged jogger in New York, Saw a colorful KW in Fostoria, Oh. when I was picking up a load of fertilizer, I gave this Autocar a pull at this fuel stop when it wouldn't start. ...and unlike last week when I got to the shop and saw a Superliner, this week I got to the shop and saw this sitting there...wtf?
  4. yup, could be the best ever. way better than oscar mayer!
  5. I saw a crackerbox on a stick once.
  6. Speaking of "the furniture hauler guy" I saw an article in "Moving Out", the free truck paper, about Clark Transfer this week.
  7. my melon failed too. the hose on the wire didn't work. now i'm gonna get an inner tube and make a catapault.
  8. That's the route I took with the mixer. Bought used tubeless wheels for $40 each and put 11R22.5's on it and got away from the old tube type tires and split rims. The old spacers and wedges all worked fine for me. Some tire shops won't even fool with the split rims anymore, they can be very dangerous if the lock ring blows off!
  9. Holiday for some people...but i'm headed to Fremont in a little while.

  10. these are ripe habenero peppers out of the garden. they're supposed to be the world's hottest peppers...sure don't look that intimidating,eh? I've got lots of them...think i'll try making habenero wine out of them.
  11. This is the top-secret wine making lab (a.k.a. the kitchen). Strained it the first time this morning. Starting to look like wine anyway. Thought this was a gallon jug too, but it's 3 liters- almost ran over. Jo hasn't even complained about the mess yet.
  12. ever checked out "Twin stick pappy"? That's a good one too.
  13. Don't know about the Superliner...they were grapes, I made Jo eat some first, waited 30 minutes, then I tasted them. They were very sweet and grapy. Yeah, that would probably work better...bet it would be blown up big as the refrigerator this morning!
  14. I thought that was Larry, was going to youtube to review to make sure.

    I like this too-Jimmy ain't bad! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6ZYx88j4R8
  16. Guess it's just you and Herb, I gotta work tomorrow too. Still better cook 2, Herb will probably be real hungry after his long ride.
  17. There were some wild grapes at the shop. The vines were growing up in a pine tree and I picked all I could reach when they got ripe-even climbed up the tree to pick some. Got the ballon over it so the little fruit flies can't get in it, and it lets the presssure off while the wine's working too. My Ma sent me a recipe last year to make wine in a gallon jug, the grape wine I made last year turned out pretty good. Got another jug of plum wine working too. Bought the plums yeserday, mashed them up and got the seeds out, put them in the Miller Lite jug, covered them with water, added some sugar, and that's it. You don't even have to add yeast, yeast just makes it start to work faster. The ballon I put on that jug yeserday was already fully erect before I went to bed last night. I got 2 more gallon jugs, I want to try making some apple and pear wine in them.
  18. Forgot this picture. I got it from an Australian Mack site, pretty cool there,eh? (that's Canadian)
  19. man, I miss those brain cells I abused now...used to know this. The '77 F-model I drove had the bigger sleeper and I used to remember when they changed from the flat rear on the cab...but I can't right now...probably same year on R-models. The instant Rob gets back from the buffet at the Petro he'll answer this, as he is an R-model expert. As in "air's nuttin' 'bout a r-moderl I don't know".
  20. Absolutely, what Paul and Underdog said. Mack used to put a lot of thought into their setups, even the gear shift knobs, and what Herb said...sorry, I got a call from Old Bill, my hero, the greatest truck driver ever, and quite possibly the greatest living human being.
  21. Well, thank you Paul- you're very welcome... I have become an ameteur(?) wine conner sewer, and I take back ALL the nasty things I said about you when I thought you were shunning us. You are still one of the greatest living Americans in my opinion. By the way, it's almost hot sauce season!
  22. cartoon boobage should be this big-
  23. you made that?..that's funny! Haven't heard "chain drive wallet" or "pocket rockets" for a while. You should have made the teacher's boobs bigger though.
