  1. don't see why- you can just sit in one of those chairs and look at it
  2. Got some from last year, and the year before. I liked that H-model too, used to have several Scouts.
  3. Garland,Texas comes to mind. The blue one reminds me of an IH 42 or 4300 cab, don't know if it is. Some of the later Marmons looked a lot like a T800 KW.
  4. True indeed, and I am happy to post the pictures.
  5. Always heard the same. P.L's. here.
  6. More bikes-saw these 2 at the truck show.
  7. All (well, most) of the truck show pictures from the ATHS show in Lincolnton,N.C. are on webshots now- http://community.webshots.com/album/578301593qEKAFT
  8. but I wonder if it's been pasteurized?
  9. OK, i'm starting to put them on webshots. http://community.webshots.com/album/578301593qEKAFT ...stupid Kodak... check back periodically-only about half finished.
  10. how come this f$%#in' link worked a while ago and doesn't now?!! Can anybody else see pictures,or just a Kodak page?
  11. Went to Rustburg a while ago to get some "Bone Sucking Sauce" at Long Mountain Grocery. Only place around that has it. Lost a million dollars though, because I bet Jo a million that they'd be closed on Sunday. Took a picture of this Triumph while I was there, as i've always thought it was a great looking bike. I wish i'd gotten a picture of what we saw coming north on 501 as we were coming home though-a Marmon motor home! Kinda like the R-model,but it was a Marmon, kind of rare to see anymore in itself, much less a motorhome. Even had a 4-wheeler behing it on a tow bar.

    Bats

I hear bats are disappearing, and no one knows why. Kinda like honey bees. I know I don't see near as many as when I was a kid, when we'd stand in the driveway at night and throw gravel in the air to watch them dive for it.
  13. couldn't say...but here's a closer look.
  14. rest of the pictures are here- http://community.webshots.com/album/578301593qEKAFT
  15. Of course we saw a few trucks. Not too many that I hadn't seen before, but it was still a good time. That B and R-model were still sitting on that trailer on 158 too. Was gonna stop a get a picture on the way home but it was raining hard then.
  16. We got there a little after 11 and left about 1:30 or so. Hate to have missed you, I was hoping you'd call. I was wearing a straw hat with Dale Earnhardt on it and a bigmacktrucks.com T-shirt. I asked Jo if she wanted to walk around one more time before we left but she said she was tired of walking.
  17. yeah, that's Burt. This is the Smokey and the Bandit KW, Trans Am, and sheriff's car that Buford clipped the top off of.
  18. Everybody around here gets hoses made at Ferbee Johnson co. They made an obsolete hose for the mixer for me once. Can't find their yellow page ad, but their no. is 434-847-6651.
  19. Looking at my 175 pictures on the big screen (computer). Not bad puppies here- but this was the best looking dog I saw! And no, I was not stalking her. I'll be putting more on webshots or photobucket,i'll post a link when I get them done. Great show by the way!
  20. I was at Brad Wike's farm from 11:15 until about 1:30...no sign of Mike.

  21. Be looking for this tomorrow-that would be me. I'll have an elf with me too.
  22. oh...the Thermo King unit must have been too expensive.
  23. wow!..I got a helluva deal! Only thing I don't like about it is that it was made in China-but what'cha gonna do?..good song by the way-Pablo Cruise.
