Sam Drucker had one of those in his store in Hooterville.
  3. I just happen to drive a Peterbilt and haven't had a breakdown for 4 days now.
  4. That is indeed one of the best looking F-models i've ever seen
  5. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1114504028 Bill's my hero.
  6. Oh,indeed, that's what it is. Thank you...just the very outside edge is blackened-man,am I stuffed! Ham sammiches next week!
  7. Yay!..Rob's back! I'm callin' it a day.
  8. That's not mine,that's Old Bill's saying-the greatest truck driver ever,as Rowdy would say "IMHO". http://www.thedieselgypsy.com/
  9. tha' ham-you might think it's burned and unfit for human consumption-not true! squash and onions out of the garden, marinated in teryaki sauce and grilled... corned beast (canned) and cabbage from the garden in the crock-pot.
  10. very good, agent Randy...but his name is Rob,and he has never been known to be wrong... about anything-yet. He does indeed have super powers.
  11. thanks for your input, Governor Randy.
  12. Jobyna said "I've got a taste for some ham-cook me a ham on the grill!". I said "effff you,I got a picnic shoulder, but it's frozen solid-won't thaw 'til Tuesday or Wednesday...besides,I gotta go to Sandusky tomorrow so I ain't doing s**t today". So, after I picked the green beans, pulled some beets, onions, and carrots, cut a head of cabbage, chopped some grass out of the garden, and mowed the grass we went to Wal-Mart and I bought a half ham. Cooked it on the grill.
  13. mine turns green when I put the little pointy thing on it.
  14. I think that's Rowdy's car.
  15. Rowdy Rebel said to put your little pointy arrow thing at the end of what part you want to copy. The little pointy arrow thing will change to a straight line. Then left click and hold the button down and slide the little pointy arrow thing over what you're copying. It will turn blue.Release the left button on your mouse and right click on it,then when the little window appears left click on "copy".If it doesn't come up in the search box, just left click the search box, then right click on it,then left click "paste" in the little window that appears.
  16. I found these three in my favorite reference book "Mack-Driven for a Century". Don't know if they're any help but they're all from the '30s. They're a BX, AP, and NJU model.

  18. sounds great! We're still running steady too. I'm leaving tomorrow for Sandusky,Ohio.
  19. I know exactly what you mean!..and women are the worst-makes me wonder how the hell they get to work every day.Call and ask for directions and women always say "hold on-let me let you talk to Joe in shipping".And Joe usually says something like "f**k you,we quit loading a 3-figger it out,a-hole".
  20. Art Reed's- Montvale,Va. You can look it over when you come down this way.
  21. I suggested to Rob before that he get one of these-
  22. Moore's Country Store is world famous for their chili dogs-they're right on 460, both the original store, closer to Lynchburg, and the one in Spout Spring, between Lynchburg and Concord. http://www.yelp.com/biz/moores-country-store-lynchburg You should come over with Rob,Jay,and David from Raleigh, and ??? and i'll prepare a delicious, yet nutritious, meal on the grill. After a trip to Appomattox would be good, because i'll need a while to cook the boston butt,ribs,chicken,and...uh...who knows, maybe a vegetable. I'm tellin ya, a trip to P.L.Duncan's is almost like going to a museum.Anyone who likes old trucks would enjoy that visit. And as I said, Mr. Duncan is a really nice man and loves to show his trucks to people who are into old trucks. I don't take 501 from here to Raleigh,I take 29 to Danville, then 86 to I-85,then 147 over to I-40. Too many stop lights on 501 getting out of Raleigh-Durham.
  23. The 18 speed is very simple to drive, easy to operate. Think of it as having a 9 speed with a hi-lo in each gear-kinda like having a 2 speed rear. It's like a 13 speed, except you can split the low side too-seldom necessary- except when you're taking off loaded going uphill, then it's sweet! But then again,I just drive it,don't know if I drive it "properly" or not.
