  1. I thought the same thing! I thought it was me at first, then I said "no, it couldn't be me, he's way younger than I am."
  2. VID_20220109_131038891.mp4
  3. I was going through some old pictures and found these that i'd never gotten around to posting anywhere. They're from a local antique power show that they no longer have, but there's some nice looking old cars, trucks, and tractors there, including my old B 53 mixer.
  4. No, their trucks are all different colors and they don't do any painting there. That Freightliner is the only truck that I've ever known to be painted there. They keep a few cans of Krylon in the parts room but that's about it.
  5. He painted this Freightliner about a year or so ago, it used to be solid black, so it's probably paint that he had left over from that project.
  6. I asked him a long time ago if I should take the radiator out and that whole piece out of the donor truck, but he said it was a pretty easy fix, so he must have a plan. It looked like to me that that would be the best way to fix it, but it doesn't look like he's cut any corners on it yet, so I just try to stay out of his way.
  7. They are rusted out, I just don't know if he has done any work in that area yet. It's not the cab mounts actually, but the radiator support mounts that are rusted out.
  8. I don't know Bob, I was wondering the same thing.
  9. Thank you, I just told Zina from Gladys that I might have to change it's name from the rust bucket to the red rocket or something 🤣
  10. Rust bucket update. Timmy just sent me these pictures this morning, I didn't even know he was painting it.
  11. Happy New Year!
  12. rust bucket update-
  13. and I agree with you 100%! No way that moron won the election fair and square, i'll never believe it either.
  14. they were guarding that delicious home made stew we had in the jars too.
  15. Thanks Bob!
  16. they're originally from Connecticut, that's why she likes the Patriots.
  17. No, that's her sister Vicki. I remember the picture, but I can't find it. This is the Tshirt though, it's my favorite- for two obvious reasons, but Zina hates it for some reason.
  18. Those who have been around here awhile will understand better. I could actually do this much better now, but it's kind of something I don't want to change.
  19. Yes she is- and she said "Wow, thank you very much!'' She is fantastic- she's young and beautiful, she could do much better than an old fart like me i'm sure!
  20. Yes it is. She was so proud to have her name on the passenger door!
  21. I know what you mean about dropping stuff, I do it all the time because I have no grip. I dropped several cameras, the last one was about a $400 Nikon A1000 in Macungie. I had dropped it a couple of times before, but that last time finished it off. The last one before that was an A900 that I dropped and ruined in Johnstown, Pa. They were smaller "point and shoot" cameras that I carried with me in the truck all the time, but they weren't cheap cameras, and they took fantastic pictures. After I dropped the last Nikon I got a Panasonic DC-FZ80 "bridge" camera to carry with me just because it was easier to hold, but you can definitely tell a difference in the picture quality. I still use a Nikon D3300, but the first thing I do when I pick it up is put that strap around my neck.
  22. So, I don't get around anymore as much as I used to, so I don't get to take all those exciting pictures like I used to... OK, if everybody is finished laughing now, since I retired I stay pretty busy, but pictures of me pressure washing Vicki from Florida's siding and driveway wouldn't be very interesting i'm sure. We've been going to sunny Florida once a month to see Vicki, and hers and Zina from Gladys' mother who's in a nursing home now. I pressure washed my deck too so I can paint it or stain it, but I think i'll wait until spring to do that. Oh, that's boring too- how about this, traffic on I-95- We only went out once the last time we were in sunny Florida, but it was to one of my favorite places- Don Julios. I love Mexican food, and this place is one of the best Mexican restaurants i've been to. Not taking anything away from the El Cazador in Altavista of course. I got a large beer, last time I got a small one and Vicki teased me for not getting a "big boy" beer. I had to use both hands to lift it, not just because it was so big but the arthritis in my hands is getting worse all the time. I can't close either hand into a fist any more, so I can't defend myself so I won't be starting nuthin' with nobody! I made some Christmas decorations too. This is the root of a tree that's in the driveway- the root is in the driveway that is, not the tree. But I sprayed some paint on it so it would look kind of like a candy cane. Not bad, eh? We went to see my mother too when we got back from sunny Florida, like we always do. She's either 87 or 88 now. I took this picture when I was standing in the yard at the house where I grew up. I was actually born in the house across the field with the blue roof, my grandparents lived there then. My brother lives in a house that's hidden behind the red barn, it's up on the hill just in front of the tree with yellow leaves. There's a small pond in between. I don't get to see any girls in any cars anymore, and "a girl in a car" picture always seemed to be pretty popular, so here's a girl in a car from the interweb. And here's the last truck I drove, right after I had cleaned it inside and out and just before I took it to the shop and parked it.
