  1. I can honestly say I've never seen a rolloff with a double bunk COE before.
  2. Did you look the cam and lifters over real well on the inframe?
  3. It sure looked nice in those older photos!
  4. If the engine is original, it should be a 673, with 160 to 180 hp. For me the deal breaker is excess rust in the cab and sheet metal (or rust that's been covered with bondo). As far as oil pressure, I'll have to let one of the more knowledgeable guys answer that one.
  5. There's a lot of old trucks out there with modern engine swaps, like you say if you don't like it then tough. The old engines are neat but we don't all have to have them. It's better to preserve the sheet metal even if you put a different engine in it.
  6. The tipper definitely has 24.5s on the back and 22.5s on the front.
  7. Real easy trucks to work on.
  8. That red B has a 3208 Cat in it! Probably not too many of that combo around.
  9. There were a lot of mechanics back in the day that really wished for tilt-nose B models. I'm glad I didn't have to work on them! Tilt nose is the way to go.
  10. I don't believe I've ever seen one of these, I assume it's home made. https://columbus.craigslist.org/grd/d/carrollton-international-td340-crawler/7128381012.html
  11. The Mack numbers I have for Maxidyne Gold Paint are 312SX63P3 gal., 312SX63P2 spray can . I don't know if Mack still sells them. The paint code I have seen here on BMT is 348.
  12. I don't think I've ever seen an H with a 2 cycle before.
  13. It'd be a real shame to cut that truck up.
  14. The Ridgeway appears to be a 1953 Fageol Twin Coach.
  15. Give these guys a call...they have connections with a lot of obsolete/NOS Mack parts. Premium Truck Parts 2273 Robinwood Ave Toledo, Ohio 43620 (419) 699-1315
  16. That is a sharp looking truck, I hope you find it.
  17. They should make a scale model of a pressure washer to make it easier to clean those models.
  18. I remember seeing a lot of OK trucks back in the 70's.
  19. I got the suspension pieces in place and lined everything up before bolting it together. These are some high-tech alignment tools I used. The u-bolts are 1-1/4" and the torque spec is 1,400 ft. lbs...I'll just use a cheater pipe and 1" drive breaker bar to get as close as I can. They came from PAI, I've been impressed by the quality of their parts.
  20. I've still got it, I'm keeping all my extras until this one's done and then I'll decide what to do with them. I would like to put one out by the road as yard art...the only problem with that is there will be a lot of guys stopping to ask if I would sell it.
  21. Yep, looks like a General to me.
  22. Bubble gum machine done hit the jackpot!
  23. The ball joints on the torque rods were in pretty tough shape but thankfully one of my cutoff rears had really nice joints on them. The torque rods were different so I took all the ball joint pieces and put them in my rods.
  24. It's a 1960 H67ST...here's a photo from 3 years ago when I started taking it apart. In the above photos, you can see the cab sitting in front of the chassis. It's a cab off a single axle that was in much nicer shape than the black one. The cab has been restored already (by someone who knew what he was doing, not me!).
