  1. Great photos, thanks for posting!!
  2. A guy started with a 1940 Chevy pickup cab, modified the cab, and hand built the hood and sleeper. It's sitting on a motor home chassis with a 5.9 Cummins engine. The craftsmanship is beautiful.
  3. The only H model I saw at the show. I'm sure everyone joined me in saying, "WE WANT TO SEE MORE H MODELS!"
  4. A beautiful Brockway.
  5. Here's a cold 12V-71 doing its part to make the skies a little bluer.
  6. I finally made it to Macungie for the first time, what a great show! Some really beautiful trucks here. Here's an RD800 glider kit, I'll bet there was a lot of salivating over this one.
  7. The guy that did my body and paint work recommended Steele.
  8. I'm sorry you lost him, sounds like he was a great dog.
  9. I bought this on fleabay for $75, the only new ones I've seen go for $150. The ad said it "might be NOS" but the pictures were grainy so I couldn't tell but I took a chance. I gave it a little polish and it looks like new. It fits the front wheel of my H67.
  10. What is the purpose of the access door?
  11. When I was a kid, I never missed Emergency...one of my very favorite shows. If I had a dime for every time I heard Dr. Brackett tell the boys to start an IV with Ringer's Lactate...
  12. With that big 275, that would have been the big truck on the highway in its day.
  13. I sure like those dog dish hubcaps, I remember seeing dozens of those go into the scrap piles back in the 70s and 80s.
  14. They call them the greatest generation...it's incredible what those men and women went through to protect freedom.
  15. Nice looking truck...the rear crossmember looks kinda upside-down. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-Other-Makes-B30x/133072983226?hash=item1efbc494ba:g:ofEAAOSwi~Jc9T~o
  16. According to his website, he did it in '14, '16, and again right now.
  17. I saw online today this guy, Ivan Stoltzfus, is pulling his camper across the US with a John Deere A (with Peterbilt cab) to thank veterans and raise money to help vets that need help. Interesting tractor!
  18. June 14 & 15 (2 weeks from now).
  19. Thank you all! Fuzzy said Friday is nice because you can watch the trucks roll in off the road. I may end up making it Saturday so I only have to miss one day of work.
  20. I'd like to come to the show, but I can only be there for one day...is Friday a better day, or should I plan on Saturday? The weekend events I've been to before, Saturday is the biggest day but I don't know about Macungie.
  21. I went with Hagerty, they gave me the best price on vintage truck insurance. Of course, I didn't check Grundy.
  22. To all you veterans, thank you for what you've done for the rest of us.
  23. Man, that's a rusty one.
  24. Does it have a front camera so you can see the road?
