Aww come on now, your profiling. You can't see the Werner logo on the the trailer, could be any jerk with a light blue trailer, it's not like all Werner drivers are accident prone.....

I had kept this picture and article for some reason and thought this would be a good place for them. I think the R and CH was an article in Overdrive about the "new" CH coming out and how it compared to the R. I kept the pic but not the article for some reason. I don't remember when I came across the newspaper article, maybe 15 years ago but both trucks pictured are R models, plus it was just an interesting story. Anybody from NH remember any of that?

I took these a couple years ago at the Big Iron Classic in Kasson MN. This guy brought out a nice display of a 1/64th scale truck stop, although I didn't see any lot lizards or guys peeing between their tires and flinging trash on the ground so it wasn't an exact replica but still nice.

Saw this Liebehrr 984 and the back of these Daewoo's at the Con Expo in Vegas back in 05. Think I was actually going for the tower crane in the Daewoo shot. I'm going to this show again March 2014. Kick ass show. I would highly recommend if anybody gets a chance to go, do it!! Only comes around every three years.

This Hendrickson was out at the Walcott Truckers Jamboree this summer. Even has a Mack air cleaner on it.

They had that truck down at M.A.T.S in Louisville about 14 or 15 years ago. I had a picture of it and lent it out for some reason and of course never got it back. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the name assist. He does excellent work.

These models were at Gerharts last year. Forgot the name of the gentleman that made them but he did an awesome job.

I'm going to agree with both of these statements. -
This was at the Waupun truck show a few years back. Wouldn't want to get caught in those blades, might be messy.

Looks like I can add those to the project list. Just need a lowboy now.

Think this guys wife was the jealous type? I've seen the trucks before in magazines, nice looking equipment, wonder who will run the company now?

Great topic. We have the same problem in IL. I swear the county and state guys around here are just bored and like riding around dumping this salt shit mix on every box culvert in a 100 mile radius. Its ridiculous, some of the bridges or culverts are no more than a couple feet long at best. Even if black ice formed on them you would be across it before you had a chance to slide around. If they want to save money they could stop having two guys in every truck riding around burning diesel dumping this shit all over every time it drops below 35 degrees. And like it was stated above, these jackass people in their cars need to slow the F--K down!

Here is a link to a place that sells all the Sword and other models. Its where I got the tub grinder at. They have a couple good deals going on right now. I like the Oshkosh with plow for $50. https://www.diecastmodels.co/ Here are two 1/50th scale Matchbox Macks that I have. If I had to guess I'm not the only one here that has these two.

I like the rebar rookie rods, all business there. -
Ok, gotta get my story straight here, TWH who made the models for Sword went out of business and Sword is still in business. Gotta get it right, don't wanna be that guy "saw it on the internet so it must be true".

A couple years ago I was able to take a tour of the Manitowoc crane factory and the tour started at the Factory store in town where SWORD/TWH also had their toys on display and for sale. I heard recently that SWORD/TWH went out of business so I'm not sure what has happened with this store. Cool place though. The last picture is actual cranes at the factory.

Here are a couple more. It is very detailed. I wanted it because at the company I used to work for we had Morbark and CBI grinders. We demo'd a couple Vermeers but never bought one. I think Vermeer is the only toy grinder being produced though. The third picture is me moving our CBI (Continental Biomass Industries) on a jobsite in ST.Paul MN. During transit the stacks and conveyor belt fold up. I was just moving it out of the wind, sometimes the wind will change and the dust would plug the radiator. I think the truck and CBI grossed about 120,000. The CBI had a 800 or 900hp CAT in it to run the mill.
