  1. Cool. I don't get over that way too much, but maybe I'll see you around sometime.
  2. Welcome Steve!. Where in southern Vermont are you at? I'm in Guilford.
  3. Or do it the easy way
  4. Sorry I took so long to reply. I kind of forgot about this post. The filter housing is Wix # 24750 and the filter is Wix #51749. It is hooked up to the same inlet and outlets that the stock cartridge filter was. The holes were even threaded already so it was easy to hook the lines up. I used 3/8" line. Another member on here (twostickmutt1@yahoo.com) used this same set up on a fire truck he had, so I just copied how he did it. Seems to work well.
  5. Nice looking rig!
  6. I was wondering the same thing. Maybe they went out of business?
  7. Is it this truck? If so, very nice truck!
  8. Here is another Mack for sale from the same towing company here
  9. That Superliner wrecker is on ebay now ebay link
  10. One other simple thing to check is make sure the brake pedal isn't sticking down just a little. Sounds dumb, but I got fooled by it once.
  11. I also looked all over for a filter for my 707 and was unable to come up with one. So this is what I did. If you are doing a true original restoration, this probably wouldn't be the way to go, but for me it seemed like the best choice.
  12. Glad to have you back Pedro!
  13. Yup, your picture showed up fine. Nice looking dogs too.
  14. I have seen those before. They are really good. Here are the direct links
  15. Here are a few pictures I just took of my 707. If you need a closer picture of anything let me know and I'll get it for you.
  16. Thanks for the replys everyone
  17. I saw this nice R-400 at a show yesterday. I had heard that they made these with Chrysler gas power, but had never seen one until this one. I didn't see the owner to talk to so I thought I'd ask about it here. Does anyone know how many were made with the Chrysler engine? What transmissions were avalable? This one appeared to be a 2 stick, but I couldn't see into the cab to see exactly what it was. Very cool looking little Mack.
  18. I agree. There were a few (very few) that they did in some of the earlier episodes that I kind of liked, but it has gotten really stupid now.
  19. It was a good show today. Here are a few pictures This is the first Hall Scott truck I think I have seen This next one is a BCR I took a lot more pictures. You can see the rest here
  20. I borrowed the lowbed from my work.
  21. :bmod1: Your links were broken, so I fixed them. There was an extra http:// in each one. They are good videos , I have had them saved to my computer for quite a while :bmod2:
  22. I don't see any videos in your post, but I looked on Youtube and am guessing these are yours. Assuming these are the right videos, thats a really cool Mack you have!
  23. I just hope they don't mess with it too much. Some of the trucks they have done have been nice, but most of them have too much dumb gimicky stuff.
