    Ive taken the screw out put plate and big C-clamp on old pin and out they come a little tap on axle and pop done 100 + Macks.

    Yup put a air toggle in the pressure side and put the switch in a hidden spot so you can turn it on -off when needed.

    Today I put on a new rubber pad on clutch pedal on the 1978 -D-M that's working 7-days a week 12-13 hrs a day either delivering or unloading salt ships. I bring it to local truck wash and drivers from all over ask what kind of Mack is that. Had one driver delivering salt to town garage said he had hard time climbing 3-mile 9-10 % grade to the top he told me I had new truck his a 2001 rd I told him that mine was older then him only thing new was the paint and the original owner was standing wright next to me went out business and went to the town to work.

    A company I work for had milk delivery trucks with tag on the rear going in out of the stores would get hung up and pull it with a pic-up couple times a year then it got stuck in gear on the mix-master the towing company pick it up from the rear and broke in half .

    No credit cards no cell phones My father ran 4 LJs in the early 50s all over north AMERICA with a road map and a wad of cash he got the bug cumming home from WW-2 and hook a ride with an over the road trucker. He was a Sergent in the Army air corps and taught people how to Pilot b-52 b-17 Bombers but chose trucking and didn't want to follow his father foot steps on the chicken farm .
