    DIDNT use grade8 bolts for all 8 to break Ive seen them break and also 1 1/4 u bolts snap we did some heavy hauling like 60/ 70 tons on a DM800 or a DM600 no lift axle didn't need training wheels or dolly's couldn't do that any more!!!!!

    North Haven CT construction ran 2 1952 LJs ten wheeler s up to 1988 then they bought a DM with AC . The driver came to work for me years later and all he wanted was grease gun . Another local contractor bought the LJ and used it in the pit i told Joe Pirovane the glass man was on the way over he wouldn't talk to me for 2 weeks and said it was a very sore subject.

    Go with a higher 23000 lbs# lining Fruehauf use to have a offset shoe with deeper brake drum they called mountain brakes also type 30/30 maxi cans .

    There is check valves in the transfer pump or vent on fuel tank or fuel cap not working well.

Gravel stone on a triaxel 73000 permit 76500 salt 67400 non construction on a triaxel truck The state of Conn, just built a new bridge over New Haven harbor cant exceed 73000 We were told the FEDS have to come and inspect it THe state hands out 5k-8k fines for salt truckers for grossing out 76500 not 67400 lbs

    My dad bought anew 66 f-100 352 3 on the tree chrome bumpers front and rear am radio 1963.00$ only problem he had was water pump master cylinder @200000 miles.

    In CT you are able to gross out @ 80000 on 2 steer with tandem axle no lift axle they were used for plant to plant.for a pay load of 26+ tons

    I talk to Chris Barry yesterday he has 30+ restored trucks now hes been putting other names logos on restored macks. There just sticking to crane millwright and heavy hauling up 1100 tons.Has for CLs tractors are going through extensive rebuild new frames
