Changing to alcoa's on the dm project , trying to get the correct offset so no rubbing and without crazy overhang, anyone been down this road before and can offer some guidance? truck is a 95 dm 688s , with 425 floats, just doing the steers, leaving the spokes on the rest. thanks in advance

decided to run the truck abit before cosmetic work starts, seesm solid but has a hard clunk when turning sharp, and only when loaded, , did king pins and new shoes , also replaced the box rubbers and u-bolts, carrier bearings are solid , r/r the rear fluids.. clean, everything looks tight but something IS moving up front... hangers maybe ? they look ok not much visual space best i can tell. what else can be moving? -

agreed... not as fancy but its a" do all " truck, my fl80 has one and i can't see not having it . I load all kinds of stuff in that truck, plants , pallets, bolders. Trying to sell the J and J but only lowballers, can't seem to see thru the surface rust, might have to just stick with it for now. It should clean up well but gloss black will show everything. -

hi lifts are really nice...but can get in the way if you are loading from the rear or if you need to leave the gate open while trasporting , that said the hL gates seem to stay in great condiition with rock etc -

Did the king pins and front shoes . passenger side was ready and the driver was right behind it so I just blew it out including shoes and new floats , front end is tight . Put the floats I had on the lift axle so rubber is solid. gotta get a insp and tags but if the box is coming off then i will wait. -
