  1. Ha!!! That's awesome. A little counter balance to keep it from tipping under hard braking lol.
  2. The gvwr is total gross I believe.....tare weight + load.... Your only concern for transport should be the tare...that is, what it weighs unladen..... I only mention this because my tare weight is close to what your talking about on your B, and my granite triaxle roll off HAS to be heavier than a b model dump empty....maybe I mistaken thought....hell, I've been wrong before, I'll be wrong again
  3. My 2011 Granite (EPA2010 MP7 405-M) shut down on idle timer on site back in the winter and wouldn't start, farted around checking things out as best I could without tools in -20c, ended up having it towed back, turned out to be a small (14 or 16 ga) "trigger" wire had rubbed through on top of the tranny....one of the few spots I couldn't get at to check.....
  4. It's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it....
  5. ....big ones?? Lol I used to launch seadoo's like that, but I had a receiver on my jeeps front bumper for said purpose....
  6. Staxx: I AM SO FN JEALOUS...... One day.....maybe....if the "boss" says it's ok... Lol
  7. Very well done....looks right at home
  8. Is that a v8 emblem under the dog on the hood in the second pic? Doesn't seem to be in too bad of shape....the body anyway
  9. You and me both. I figure if the suspension let go and the truck rolled over the axle, the woul be more body damage.
  10. X2.....looks like fun.....maybe next year
  11. 2 straps when empty....when loaded he adds a third for safety's sake lol
  12. You and me both.....
  13. ......Duct tape and zip ties!!! lol
  14. Definitely. Nice pics.
  15. What I've been hearing is 445 is a way to save a little fuel. Still get all the torque you need. Some one in here had posted they had a 505 that they de-tuned to 445.,.... I think it was BBigRig....but can't be certain.
  16. Valve seals.......it was early when we were talking about it. I'm personally leaning on the top of the motor..... We were just tossing ideas around. Thanks.
  17. Gas job eh?! Sweet. Good luck and welcome. Helmets are over there.
  18. Finally, it's not my GU!!!!! 88 rd688s with e6 350 hard start and blue smoke after sitting all night. If he leaves it idle for more than 5 mins or so, on take off it will puff blue. Less time, no blue smoke (like sitting at a light). Looses 2 litres of oil regardless of how it was run the day before, empty bins for setups, or hauling gravel/trash steady all day, always 2 litres. Haven't got the go ahead to start checking things out from the boss man yet, so we are brainstorming where to start.... I'm thinking turbo passing oil or injectors letting oil into the head while it sits. Any insight?!?! Side note: I was informed earlier this week that the pump has been turned up, however, I don't know by who or by how much. Thanks
  19. I'm limited to 105 (104 on gps), and it's a pain on the highway. Like snow dog said, if I'm doing 100 in the right lane and I come up on "someone" doing 98, when I go to pass it TAKES FOREVER!!!!! The old r isn't limited...I got it to 115 on gps once....I've also done 117 in my granite....down a hill....with a load on....and my foot on the throttle to keep the engine brake off lol
  20. Block / head would be mi guess, but I've only ever lifted car / pickup motors out.....500lbs versus 2000+lbs.
