Funny you mentioned the name "dog"....a good friend from high school had a king Sheppard named dog, said so on his county tag......wonderful pet and excelent guard dog...till he tried to guard the road from a cabover hauling hay....driver felt terrible, but dogs are fast and loaded trucks stop slow......he went to the house to tell them what happened.....

  10. In my interview for my current job, the boss asked me 3 questions, the second one was "can you drive stick?" I found out later that he had hired 4 drivers before me who all got DZ s through a school on autos.....why not train for "worst case scenario"? The last question made us both laugh....."when can you start?" Lol

  12. F***.....check blink codes......ignition on, motor running or off, cruise switch off, press and hold set/resume button till the CEL starts to blink.....count the blinks, there will be a pause in the code, that the break ex: X-X
  13. If you have a multimeter you could check the resistance (ohms) of the various sensor and confirm them against know parameters....which i dont have, maybe if you ask the techs nicely they will help....lol Some one else may have other methods.....
  14. Back in the safe world of forum browsing......*whew*. Lol
  15. I think low speed motors have an "L" at the end of the code ex: E6-300L. "M" is maxi dyne, or high torque rise engines, they can be lugged down further and still make power so they can be mated to straigh 5 or 6 speed transmissions (Maxitorque). Power from 1000-1200 up to 1600-1800 I believe.
  16. Excellent.... Thanks fellas!!
  17. Just not that much motor there for compression braking....
  18. That's how fuller does it..... And the cooler is built into my rad....
  19. Awful lot of truck for that trailer lol. Bet you don't even know it's there.....
  20. I run with the load gauge on the screen and have noticed the last little while that it's 10% when idling warm with pto out, when it used to be 6 or 7% at the same conditions....just trying to understand how it gets the numbers.....
  21. Just curious how the engine load gauge in the co-pilot works ......is it actual readings from the injectors fuel rate, or theoretical reading based in revs/throttle positon......
  22. Are you getting a shut down light? Oil pressure/coolant levels are normal?
  23. " Oh shit, the exhaust fans!!!!! Someone turn on the fans" lol
